Chapter Seventeen: Beach Day

Theo and I have been hanging out a lot whenever we have had free time. I'm surprised the public hasn't heard of us dating yet, but I don't mind.

"Shai, how about we go on a date today? Maybe to the beach?" Theo walks in, shirtless may I add.

"Do you just want to go so you can see me in a bikini?" I joke.

"Maybe." Theo laughs and pecks my forehead.

I slip on my bikini and throw a sundress over it. Theo waits for me in the car while I put my sunglasses on.

I love going to the beach, the ocean sounds relax me and the sun gives me a tan which isn't bad either.

Also, Theo and I haven't been on a date since we went hiking and dinner.. It's totally rad how Theo can be adventurous with me too.

"We're here!" Theo jumped out of the jeep and opened my door.

"You're acting like a four year old who just got a new toy." I giggle.

"I love the beach, what can I say?" He winks and our hands find each other.

Theo and I found a spot in front of the water, we laid or towels on the ground and kept our sunglasses on. It's pretty early, no paparazzi will be out at 8 in the morning.

There we no clouds in sight, the heat on my skin felt amazing. I leaned into Theo's shoulder, breathing in this moment of us being together.

"Want to go for a swim?" His eyes light up.

I nod and we head down to the water. The waves crashed against the sand and it was crystal clear. I carefully dipped my toes in, not that cold.

All of a sudden, Theo had picked me up and threw my over his shoulders.

"Theodore James! Put me down!" I squealed.

I immediately regret saying that, we both went underwater when a big wave washed over us. I came up to fresh salty air and the water went back to waist level.

Theo comes above and pulls me towards him. I wrap my arms around his neck and our lips found each other. The kiss was full of passion and romance. Theo makes me crazy and I'll be honest, I'm almost in love with him.

"Shailene Diann Woodley, I'm afraid to say that I'm almost in love with you." Theo whispered into my ear, sending chills down my spine.

A smile appeared on my face, I pecked his cheek.

"I'm almost in love with you too Theodore."
