A week passed like this.
Harry was tired. No matter how hard he tried to concentrate, his mind eventually drifted back to Draco. At this point it wasn't even the dream anymore, Harry was starting to have genuine feelings for Draco even though he wouldn't admit it.
After the last lesson of the week, Harry grabbed his things with a deep sigh.
He went to the Common Room with Hermione, Ron had forgotten one of his books.
In the Common Room, Harry dropped his things on the table next to the couch and sat down on to the couch.
"Okay, I'm done with this, what is going on Harry?" Hermione said, sitting down next to Harry. "Ever since you had that dream, you're no longer yourself. Fred, George and Ron said that you're very absent during Quidditch practices, you don't pay attention during the lessons and you go early to bed. You always pay attention during Quidditch and you never go to bed early. I'm worried about you, Harry..."
Harry sighed deeply. "... I don't know how to explain this to you..."
"Just tell me, we'll see where we get."
"Okay, but promise me you won't laugh or get mad if I tell you, okay?"
"Promise."
"Okay,..." Harry told Hermione everything he had been thinking about the last days. "Whatever I do, no matter how hard I focus on something else, my thoughts eventually end up with Malfoy."
"Maybe you should stop trying to think of something else and just let the thoughts come. Maybe you will understand why the thought keeps coming back."
"Okay..."
"Don't worry, you will find out, I'm sure of it."
Late at night, Harry was still thinking about what Hermione had said. Every time Draco came back to his mind, Harry tried not to focus on something else but just think about Draco to see where he would end up. And every time he came to the same conclusion which he was sure of, was wrong.
He didn't believe it. He didn't want to believe it.
It couldn't be that he was in love with Draco, right? No, that's impossible. It had to be something else. But what?
The next day, Harry, Ron and Hermione went to the library after breakfast to do homework. Since it was Saturday, they had plenty of time to do their work as they had no classes. Harry was already in the library doing his herbology homework, while Ron and Hermione went to get their books.
Suddenly, Neville burst into the library. "Harry! Ron... he... he..."
"Neville, take it easy, catch your breath." Harry interrupted Neville.
Neville took a few deep breaths and tried again. "Malfoy and Ron are fighting in the corridor!"
"Oh no, yet again?!" Harry jumped up and followed Neville into the corridors.
"Don't you dare say that to her ever again, Malfoy!" Ron took out his wand and pointed it at Draco.
"Bugger off Weasley!" Draco took out his wand too.
"Ronald stop! This is useless!" Hermione called. She pulled on Ron's arm, hoping to stop him, but he ignored her.
"Ventus!" Draco shouted and a gust of wind pushed Ron back.
"Guys stop it! You don't want to get caught by a teacher!" Harry said but Draco pushed him aside.
Ron sprang to his feet and approached Draco. "Flipendo!"
Draco fell to the ground as if he was being pushed over. He was soon back on his feet. "Levicorpus!"
Ron was lifted off the ground and hung upside down in the air. Ron, unconcerned about hanging upside down, shouted another spell, "Furninculus!"
Draco didn't think Ron was going to cast a new spell so quickly and wasn't prepared to stop the spell.
Harry, who knew very well what that spell meant, jumped in front of Draco and shouted, "Finite!" Just before the spell got to them.
Professor McGonagall hurried over to the group. She pointed her wand at Ron and said, "Liberacorpus." She gave them a stern look. "To my office, all four of you!" She said curtly.
Ron, Harry, Hermione and Draco silently followed Professor McGonagall to her office.
"What did you think you were doing!?" She shouted indignantly. "Casting spells on each other in the corridor without thinking about how terribly dangerous that is! Are you mental!? Not only did you endanger yourself but also your fellow students! You are sixth year students! I expected a little more responsibility from you! Do you have any idea what could have happened if something went wrong!? Using spells like Furninculus! If Mr. Potter hadn't been there, Mr. Malfoy would've been in the hospital wing right now! Give me a reason to do such dangerous and irresponsible things!?"
"He scolded Hermione! He called her a mudblood!" Ron said in defence.
"That's no reason to cast spells on each other, Mr. Weasley!" Professor McGonagall replied.
"He started it!" Ron called.
"That's not true!" Draco called.
"Yes it is!"
"I don't care who started it!" Professor McGonagall interrupted Ron and Draco. "The point is that it happened! I'm going to have to take points from both your houses. 50 points off for both Slytherin and Gryffindor for using dangerous spells and reckless behavior! And I'm going to have to punish you both. You need to learn how to deal with people you can't stand and since you two can't stand each other you are going to spend the entire weekend together."
"What!?" Ron and Draco said in surprise.
"You heard me, you are going to spend the whole weekend together. Mr. Malfoy you can pack your things, you will spend the night with the Gryffindors this weekend. You will sit at their table and eat with Gryffindor, you will stay with Mr. Weasley all weekend! And if I find out that either of you has only cast one spell on each other, or if you aren't together, you'll have to stay together all week!"
"What!? Please tell me this is a joke!" Draco said indignantly.
"Do I look like I'm joking!?"
"But that is impossible! What will my friends think!?"
"I don't care what your friends will think Mr. Malfoy, you should have thought twice before you insulted Mrs. Granger and started using spells on Mr. Weasley!"
"But..."
"No buts Mr. Malfoy or I'll take 100 points from Slytherin!"
"Fine." Draco rolled his eyes.
"And now leave! Mr. Malfoy you are going to get your sturr together with Mr. Weasley, in the meantime I will arrange a mattress so you can sleep. And you better be nice to each other, I'll be watching you!"
"What if the other professors tell me to go back to my own table?" Draco asked.
"That's not going to happen, I will inform them all of the punishment you are undergoing. And now get out!"
All four of them walked out in silence.
