"She could be here any minute! Do I look good? What if something happened to her on the way here!?" Ron paced through the kitchen.

Harry, Ginny, Fred, and George were watching at the kitchen table.

"Calm down!" Fred and George said.

"You don't look any different from usual Ron." Ginny said.

"What could've happened to her? We're talking about Hermione here." Harry said.

Ron kept pacing around, nervously.

After a few more minutes of Ron pacing around nervously and rattling about what could happen, Harry was fed up.

"Ron, I swear, if you don't stop pacing around and ranting about whatever could've happened to Hermione on the way here, I'm going to petrify you." He said in frustration.

"Thank you!" George and Fred said.

"Take a deep breath and sit down." Harry said.

Ron did as he was asked.

"Everything's gonna be fine, okay? Nothing happened to Hermione, I mean, it's Hermione. And you look good, not that she's going to care, she loves you no matter what. So, calm down." Harry said.

Ron nodded.

"I'll go see where Mom and Dad are with Hermione." Ginny said. She got up and walked out.

"Can I have some water?" Ron asked anxiously.

"Of course!" George got up and walked quickly to the cupboard to get a glass and filled it.

"And not over my head!" Ron said quickly. "To drink."

"Aww," Fred and George sighed.

"Fine." George put the glass of water in front of Ron.

"Thank you." Ron took the glass and drank it. He was much calmer.

"They're here! They're here!" Ginny shouted, rushing in.

Ron was immediately nervous again.

Everyone got up and went to the front door.

Molly and Arthur just got inside, followed by Hermione.

Arthur put her suitcase by the door.

"Hii!" Ginny ran quickly to Hermione and hugged her tightly.

Hermione held her tight. "Hii, I missed you." She said.

"Hello Hermione." Fred and George said in unison as they enclosed her in a hug.

"Hi guys, you bothered Ron a lot I heard."

"We? We would never dare!"

"Hi Mione," Harry said happily.

"Hi Harry," Hermione put her arms around him. "I've missed you."

"I've missed you too." Harry said, holding her tight.

She let go of him.

"Hi..." Ron said, still standing stiffly where he stood since Hermione came in.

"Ron..." Hermione ran to him and hugged him tightly.

Ron put his arms around her and held her tight.

"I missed you so much." She whispered.

"I missed you too." Ron said, blushing.

Hermione kissed him.

Ron smiled and kissed her back.

Harry looked at his two best friends, they looked so happy together. How he wished Draco was here now...

Hermione had been at the burrow for a week now and Harry hadn't received an answer from Draco yet.

He thought it was very strange. Normally, Hedwig came back with a letter after a few days.

"Maybe he only wrote his answer a few days ago?" Hermione said when Harry voiced his concerns.

"Or maybe there is a lot of wind near Malfoy Manor and Hedwig is delayed?" Ron said.

"I hope you're right...

Harry was concerned, but hoped that either Ron or Hermione was right and that Draco had indeed sent the letter later or that Hedwig was delayed.

"Harry! Harry!" Ginny called.

She came running in with Hermione.

"What is it?" Harry and Ron rushed into the kitchen.

"We saw Hedwig flying!" Hermione said a little breathless.

Harry ran upstairs as fast as he could.

Hedwig was already in her cage.

There was no letter anywhere.

Harry looked around for a letter.

Ron and Hermione entered the room. "And?" They asked in unison.

"She didn't bring a letter..." Harry was getting very worried. "This is not good... Draco always sends his letters with Hedwig, he never uses their family owl..."

"Maybe he was allowed to use his parents' family owl?" Ron said hopefully. "You said he was coming out. Maybe his parents let him use the family owl?"

"I don't know..." Harry said worriedly. "Something isn't right..."

Everything around them darkened slightly.

"Harry, you have to stay calm. Everything will be fine, okay?" Hermione said, immediately realizing what was happening.

"How do you expect me to stay calm!?" Harry snapped desperately. "Hedwig is back without a letter from Draco after he wrote in Draco's last letter that he was going out to his parents! Who knows what happened!? His parents, especially his father, are very strict. It's almost impossible that they simply accepted Draco."

The room grew darker and Hermione and Ron felt suffocated.

"Harry please..." Ron said a little anxious.

It just got darker and darker.

"Harry, control yourself! Everything is going well with Draco, he'll be fine. He is strong." Hermione said.

"You don't understand Hermione! That's the problem! Draco is a strong person, he can handle a lot, but not his father. His father has done a lot of terrible things to him. He's terrified of his father! And that man is capable of everything!"

The room darkened even more if at all.

Hedwig began to flap her wings in fear.

"Draco will be fine!" Hermione said desperately to calm Harry down.

"No you don't understand! You don't know what he did to Draco! You have no idea..." Harry leaned against Ron's bed and rubbed his face with his hands.

Hermione began to get scared.

"Look Harry, I know you're worried about Draco, but this is no use! You're not helping Draco by losing control of yourself, so please calm down!" Ron said.

"I'm trying!" Harry said fiercely, making the room seem to get even narrower.

Ron got to Harry, pulling him up and shaking him. "Calm. Down."

Harry was startled by Ron's sudden fierce reaction and the room was once again as it should be.

"Don't worry about him, okay?" Ron put a hand on Harry's shoulder. "I know you're worried, but panic isn't helping him. And he'll be fine. I mean come on, it's Draco."

"I hope you're right. Draco is strong, I know that, but you have no idea what his father did to him..."
