Several days passed and there was still no news from Draco.
Harry was terrified about Draco. He had tried to contact Draco through his ring but for some reason he got no response. He just didn't know what to do. He just wanted his Draco back...
"Are you cold?" Ron asked Hermione.
She nodded.
"I'll make a fire then." Ron grabbed his wand to set fire to a piece of parchment.
Harry, Ron, and Hermione sat in Harry and Ron's room in the middle of the night, talking.
Well, Hermione and Ron were talking, but Harry, on the other hand, stared out the window. He was concerned about Draco. He hardly slept ever since Hedwig had returned.
Hermione and Ron thought it was nothing serious and that Draco's letter was just late or something, but Harry knew something was wrong.
He sighed.
Hermione and Ron looked at him with pity.
Harry looked out the window again. After a few minutes, he suddenly saw something in the garden, but he couldn't really tell what it was because he didn't have his glasses on. He put on his glasses and looked again. "Draco!" He jumped up and ran down the stairs as quickly as possible, leaving his friends confused and probably waking the rest of the house on his way down the stairs. He quickly ran into the garden.
Draco was crying on his knees in the grass.
Harry ran to him and put his arms around Draco.
Draco was still crying badly.
"It's alright, it's going to be alright, I'm here, nothing's going to happen to you..." Harry whispered reassuringly in Draco's ear.
Draco held Harry as tightly as possible.
Hermione and Ron walked into the yard followed by the rest of the house.
"What happened, love?" Harry asked softly when Draco had calmed down a little.
"I... I told my parents that I like boys and I told them about our relationship and... and..." Draco sobbed heavily. "Father locked me in my room... He isolated the whole room from all forms of magic and communication... "You won't leave your room until the demon that Potter put in you is out of you!" Had he said and then slammed my door, and locked it... I haven't spoken to him or my mother since..." Draco sobbed heavily in Harry's shoulder.
Harry felt anger bubble up in him. "I'm going to kill him! He is so dead!"
Everyone looked at Draco in shock.
Hermione and Ginny had tears in their eyes and Fred, Ron and George could only stare at them in total shock.
"How did you get out?" Ron asked after a long pause, in complete silence except for Draco's heavy sobs and Harry saying comforting things to him.
"Around evening, Dobby came to my room as usual to bring me food, but this time he didn't just come to bring the food. "Master Draco, I want you to get ready to leave," He had said. "I want you to pack your things and be ready to go. Make sure you're quiet, your parents are not allowed hear you. I'll pick you up at midnight, and I'll bring you away. I can't take you very far unfortunately, when they realize I'm gone, we'll both get into trouble. But you can apparate, you'll get where you need to be. Go to Harry." So, I did as he asked and on midnight, he came into my room and apparated us to the nearest village. From there I had to continue on my own. I had to apparate several times, I was too tired to come here all at once... I had to leave Button behind, it was too risky to get him, my father would've noticed..." Draco said with tears still running down his cheeks.
"Oh dear, that's awful." Molly said compassionately.
"It's so horrible you had to experience all of this... I... I'm sure Button will be fine, he's strong..." Tears ran down Harry's cheeks. He stroked Draco's cheek.
Draco flinched very slightly. He didn't want to worry Harry because he was in pain.
But Harry had seen it. "What happened? Are you hurt? Did he hurt you!?"
"It's nothing, don't worry." Draco quickly looked away.
"Tell me what happened." Harry said as he gently turned Draco's face back towards him.
A tear ran down Draco's cheek. "He hit me... H... he came by once every day and slapped me... "This is to get the demon out of you." He said every time."
Harry felt his blood boil.
"How could he do something like that?!" Hermione was shocked.
"He can't do that!" Ginny said.
"The next time I see him, he will have to deal with me!" Ron said fiercely.
"Yeah!" The twins said in agreement.
"He is dead." Harry said a little too calmly for his friends' liking. "He is dead." He got up.
"Harry..." Hermione said.
"Where's my wand!? I swear I'm going to kill him! Somebody stop me before I apparate to him!" Harry grabbed his wand.
Fred and George quickly grabbed him.
"Harry dear, I know you're angry, we all are, but this is no use, you'll only get yourself into trouble." Molly said. "Come on, let's continue talking inside, you'll get sick."
They all went in.
It took a while for Harry to calm down. It wasn't until Draco told him he was barely feeling it that he began to calm down.
"Come on, let's go to sleep," Arthur said. "It's the middle of the night, we'll talk tomorrow."
"But we don't have an extra bed left." Molly said.
"No need, Mrs. Weasley," Harry said. "Draco can just sleep with me. Come on love," He took Draco's hand.
Draco followed him and Ron to Ron and Harry's room.
The rest of the house went back to their rooms.
"Where's your suitcase?" Ron asked Draco.
Draco reached into his pocket and the moment he took it out, his suitcase began to expand back to its normal size. "Dobby said apparating is easier when you don't have objects in your hands."
"Could be." Harry said.
"Yeah, I'm going to sleep guys. I'm very tired." Ron fell sleepily onto his bed and fell asleep almost immediately.
Draco took off his clothes, put on Harry's Weasley sweater and crawled into bed with Harry.
