"Ready Harry?" Ron asked. He entered the dorm. "Wow, you look good!" He looked at him with wide eyes.
"Thank you," Harry blushed a little. "You don't look bad either."
"At least it's not that ugly thing from fourth year!" Ron growled.
Harry laughed. "Yes, that thing was really awful!"
"Shall we go?" Ron asked.
"Go on, Hermione is already waiting, I'll be right there."
"Okay, I'll see you in a minute." Ron left the dorm.
Harry took a deep breath. He had never been more nervous. It's going to be alright, Harry. You are not alone. You have Draco and Hermione. Right, everything will be fine. He took another deep breath and then left the dorm. He walked through the corridors to the ballroom.
And there he stood. At the bottom of the stairs in front of the large doors to the ballroom. Draco looking absolutely beautiful.
Harry went down the stairs.
Draco turned to him and the smile on his face immediately widened.
Draco looked really beautiful in his suit. The dark-gray color made his gray-blue eyes shine beautifully.
"You look stunning, darling." Draco held out his hand to Harry.
"You then, you look beautiful." Harry took Draco's hand.
Draco blushed slightly. "Thank you." He led Harry to the door. "Ready?"
Harry hesitated. "I'm scared..."
Draco smiled reassuringly. "I am too, but everything will be fine, okay? I'll stay with you no matter what. And we have Hermione, remember?"
Harry nodded.
"Okay, are you ready to go?"
Harry nodded hesitantly.
"Everything will be fine." Draco kissed Harry on the cheek.
They walked to the door and the door opened by itself.
Everyone looked at the opening door and at Draco and Harry standing behind it.
Harry looked a little nervous, but Draco smiled proudly.
Everyone was silent and stared at them, even the music had stopped.
Harry started to panic a little. His heart was pounding.
"Hey, don't worry about it, everything will be fine." Draco whispered as he stepped inside.
Harry calmed down a little.
They walked into the ballroom looking for where their friends were.
Soon Harry saw Hermione with Ron next to her.
Hermione smiled reassuringly at him.
Harry felt a little calmer.
Ron stared at him in surprise, but then he smiled.
Harry felt a little weight lift off his shoulders. He looked at his other friends, they all smiled at him.
Ron began to clap his hands.
Hermione, Neville, Ginny, Luna, Dean and Seamus followed his lead.
Harry felt some weight lift off his shoulders again.
Soon the whole hall started to clap for them.
Harry felt completely relaxed and free.
Draco smiled at him. I told you it was going to be okay.
Harry cupped his face and kissed him.
Draco put an arm around Harry's waist and kissed him back.
Everyone cheered.
The music started to play again and everyone started to dance.
Harry and Draco danced together.
Harry was still shaking a little from what had just happened.
"You're shaking love, are you alright?" Draco asked.
"Yeah, just overwhelmed by everything that just happened. I just can't believe I'm here with you, where everyone can see us, and we don't even have to be subtle."
Draco smiled.
"I can just kiss you and no one would be surprised."
"Like this?" Draco kissed him on the cheek.
Harry chuckled. "No, like this." He cupped Draco's face with one hand and kissed him passionately.
Draco kissed him back.
The kiss was so deep that they both got dizzy.
Draco managed to keep his balance and escorted Harry off the dance floor. He kissed him again.
After a while they broke away.
Hermione and Ron approached them.
"Can I borrow Harry from you for a moment, Draco?" Hermione asked.
Draco smiled. "Of course." He walked to a bench with Ron.
"I am so proud of you." Hermione hugged Harry.
"Thank you for being there, if you hadn't been there I probably would have panicked."
Hermione chuckled. "That probably would have happened to me if I were you. You look good in that suit. That burgundy suits you very well."
"Thank you, Draco chose it for me."
"I thought so, Draco knows a lot about style. He did a good job."
"You also look gorgeous."
Hermione wore a beautiful, wide, light blue dress without sleeves, with beautiful, white, embroidered flowers at the hem of the dress.
Hermione blushed. "Thanks, Luna helped me choose, she said the blue suits me well."
"And she's damn right! So how are you and Ron?"
"Good I guess," Hermione looked at the floor, blushing. "He's a terrible dancer, which gives a lot of funny moments so we laugh a lot. And we just talk about everything. He accepts you and Draco, you know. He said 'I can't stand Draco, but he makes Harry happy. I realized that when I saw them kiss. Draco is good to Harry, he genuinely makes him happy, so I'll do my best to be friends with Draco, even if it's an impossible task.'"
Harry smiled. "That's very sweet of him."
"Yes indeed, he is quite shy, I notice."
"He's nervous."
"Okay, Mione, can we switch again? As much as I enjoy talking to Ron, I want my loved one back."
Harry laughed.
Hermione smiled. "You can have him back, Draco. You look absolutely stunning in your suit by the way, and so does Harry."
"Thank you, I tried my best."
"You did very well, but I didn't expect anything else from you."
Draco smiled proudly. He walked over to Harry and bowed slightly. "May I have this dance?" He asked politely. Like a true gentleman, he reached out to Harry.
Harry chuckled. "Of course you may, my princess." Smirking, he took Draco's hand and Draco led him to the dance floor.
