Chapter 54

"Harry, Draco are you coming or what!?" Ron suddenly called from downstairs.

Harry broke away breathless. He looked at Draco with rosy cheeks. "Coming!" He answered without taking his eyes off Draco.

"Let's go." Draco said a bit out of breath.

"Yeah," Harry nodded.

"Busy with something else?" Ron asked with a smirk as they joined the table, cheeks still tinted.

Hermione nudged him lightly with her shoulder. "Let them be in love, you know how magical it feels."

Ron flushed. "I do."

They looked at each other.

Fred coughed lightly, waking Hermione and Ron from their trance.

Mrs. Weasley entered the dining room. "Good morning!" She said cheerfully. "Did you sleep well?"

"No, not really, I've had nightmares all night." Draco replied.

"Oh dear, how bad."

Draco shrugged. "I've gotten used to them now, I've had them for more than a week. And Harry and Ron were there to calm me down."

"We didn't get much sleep because of that, though." Ron said.

Harry nodded.

"Sorry that I kept waking you up." Draco looked at his hands.

"Don't apologize, Draco, you can't help it that you get nightmares."

Everyone nodded in agreement.

"Harry's right mate, you can't help having nightmares about your dad." Ron said.

"It's normal that you get nightmares after what you have been through the last days." Mr. Weasley said.

Draco sighed.

Harry rubbed his back comforting. "Everything is fine now Draco, you are safe now, he can't harm you anymore."

"But what do I do now? I have nowhere to go..."

"Nonsense, you can stay with us." Mrs. Weasley said.

Draco looked up. "Really?"

"Yes, we will arrange for an extra bed in Ron and Harry's room."

"Exactly," Mr. Weasley said in agreement. "I'll just make Harry's bed into a double bed and I will provide an extra closet."

"Are you sure? I don't want to be a burden to you..."

"A burden?" Fred said.

"You're never a burden to us." George added.

"Yes, you are family now." Ginny said.

"Really?"

"Yes Dray," Hermione smiled.

"Are you sure you want the former Malfoy heir as family?"

"Yeah right!" Hermione said.

"Malfoy heir! Pure rubbish! That says nothing about you and who you are!" Harry said.

Draco's eyes filled with tears.

"Hey Draco, look at me." Hermione put a hand on his arm. "From the moment I saw you and Harry's connection, I knew you were going to be part of this family."

Draco's tears ran down his cheeks and he leaned against Harry.

"Aww love, don't cry." Harry hugged him.
