"Let's go to Harry, you need to talk to him."
"No, first I want to speak to Pansy!" Draco went to the garden.
"Hey Parkinson!" He shouted angrily. "How could you!? Why would you do something like that !?" He pushed her against a tree.
"Draco, take it easy!" Hermione said.
"What is wrong Draco? What did I do?" She looked at him innocently.
But Draco didn't take any of it. "You know what you did! You tried to ruin my relationship with Harry! Why would you do something like that!? I thought we were friends!"
Pansy was silent for a moment. Then she saw Hermione standing behind Draco. "What did you do to him you foul mudblood!?" She called out to her angrily.
"Don't speak to her like that!" Draco pushed her harder against the tree.
"Since when do you protect mudbloods?"
"There is nothing wrong with being muggleborn! She's a brilliant, sweet and caring person and she's my friend!"
"You're friends with that?!" Pansy looked dirty in Hermione's direction.
"She's been my friend for a while now, you know that! And since some time she became my best friend! Just like Ron!"
"You replaced me?"
"A real best friend never kisses with the others boyfriend!" With those words, Draco let her go and walked over to Hermione. He smiled at her.
She smiled back. "Come on, let's go to Harry."
Draco hugged her. "Thank you. For everything. "
"Best friends right?"
Draco smiled.
They walked to the Gryffindor Common Room.
Ron was already there waiting for them. "I tried, but he refuses to eat."
Draco felt a lump in his throat.
"It's alright, it's going to be alright." Hermione said. "Come on." She took Draco to Harry's dorm. "You two need to talk." She left Harry and Draco alone and closed the door behind her.
It was quiet.
Draco was at the door. "I'm sorry..." he said after a while. "I should've believed you... I should've known it was one of Pansy's sick games..."
Harry was silent.
"I do trust you, you know?" Draco continued. "... I... I was just confused and I fell for Pansy manipulative tricks... I'm so sorry Harry, you really didn't deserve that..."
Harry remained silent.
Draco sighed. "... I... I missed you..."
"I missed you too..." said Harry.
"I'm sorry Harry... What can I do to make things up to you?"
"I don't know..." Harry hesitated. How could he be sure Draco really trusted him? And if there is no trust, how can things ever work out between the two of them?
Draco felt tears in his eyes.
"... If you don't trust me... how can we be in a healthy relationship?"
Draco's heart broke. "I do trust you... I swear I do..." Tears began to roll down Draco's cheeks.
For the first time since Draco had entered, Harry looked at him. "Do you really trust me?" He asked with pure sincere in his eyes.
"I do." Draco said in a trembling voice.
Harry kept looking at him.
"I really do." That look he gave Harry made all Harry's doubts disappear for good. "Please Harry! Don't leave me! I can't live without you!" Draco begged.
Harry got up and hugged Draco.
"I love you Harry! I've never loved anyone as much as I love you! I can't live without you any longer!" Draco said sobbing.
"I love you too Draco! I love you so, so, so much! " Harry held Draco close to him.
Draco sobbed fiercely. "I'm sorry! I'm so sorry!"
"It's okay, love. It is not your fault. Pansy just shouldn't have done that."
It was quiet for a long time.
Harry held Draco against him.
They sat on Harry's bed.
Tears were still running down Draco's cheeks.
"Baby please don't cry." Harry wiped away Draco's tears.
"I just missed you so much." Draco said.
"I missed you too." Harry kissed Draco.
Draco looked at him.
"What?" Harry asked.
Draco smiled. "Nothing." He cupped Harry's face and kissed him passionately.
Harry kissed him back. He took Draco's hand and held it to his chest. He put his arms around Draco's waist.
Draco's arms slid around his neck through Harry's chest.
After a while she stopped.
They rested their foreheads against each other.
Harry held Draco's hand. "You still have your ring on." Harry said after a while.
Draco nodded. "And the necklace, I couldn't take them off..."
"I did take them off..."
"I know, I felt it."
"Really?"
"Yeah, it was horrible... It felt like my heart froze temporarily..."
"I'm sorry..."
"It's alright... It was my own fault."
There was a moment of silence.
"Do you still have them?"
"Yeah... Ron put them in my box. I almost threw them out the window, I was so angry... Ron stopped me and put them away. I am glad Ron had stopped me, I would never have forgiven myself if I had thrown them away..." Harry took his box, turned the circle until the arrow was red and opened the box. He took the necklace and ring out of the box. He looked at Draco and put the ring and necklace back on.
A warm, tingling sensation swept through them.
They smiled.
Draco kissed Harry again.
Hermione and Ron came to see how things were going. Harry and Draco had been upstairs alone for almost half an hour, and they were starting to worry about them. When they entered the room they saw Harry and Draco kissing.
Hermione smiled.
Ron smiled too. He was happy to see his two friends back together. He knows how much they love each other. "Iew! Disgusting!" He put his hands over his eyes. "Stop it guys! This is disgusting!"
"Oh sod off Ron!" Draco said.
Ron laughed. "I'm glad you two made up."
