Harry was very absent during breakfast. He didn't talk and didn't eat much. He wasn't sure what he was feeling. He didn't want Draco to go back to his own friends and stop hanging out with Harry. He didn't want to give up the great nights in the astronomy tower, even though he was very tired in the morning. He really enjoyed the weekend with Draco.
Draco was also awfully quiet.
Ron, not realizing anything was wrong, was just enjoying his food.
Hermione, however, realized that Harry and Draco were not quite themselves. "And, happy to go to your own house again, Malfoy?" Hermione asked Draco.
Draco looked up. "Yes of course." He said, but he didn't really mean it.
Harry wasn't convinced. He knew something wasn't right. "Why not?" He asked.
Hermione and Ron gave him a strange look.
"He just said he is glad he can go back to his house." Hermione said.
"Yes, I know, but I'm not stupid." Harry focused back on Draco. "What is going on?"
Draco was a little confused because Harry saw right through his lie. But he was also kinda relieved. "Goyle is probably mad at me for defending you against him and I don't know what to do. I'm not going to apologize, don't think so, he deserved it, but he's never going to apologize either. How are we going to solve this?"
Harry thought for a moment. "Maybe he understands he was wrong and apologizes?"
"I hope so, but I'm pretty sure that's not going to happen."
"You'll be fine, and you still have Pansy and Crabbe and us of course."
Draco felt a little better. "Yes, that's true." He smiled.
"Come on, we have to go, class is about to start." Hermione said.
"Yeah right, let's go." Ron said.
They left the Great Hall and there they parted ways.
"See you in class." Draco said walking up to the Slytherin Common Room.
"See you in class." Harry replied. He gave a quick wave and went with Ron and Hermione to the Gryffindor Common Room.
"Hermione, what was that spell called again we talked about earlier?" Harry asked in a whisper during transfiguration. He turned to Hermione, who sat behind him next to Draco.
"You mean the one you can use to put stuff away?" Hermione asked quietly.
"Yeah, that one."
"It's called Locomotor."
"O right, thanks Hermio... wow!" Harry caught the jar of ink that fell off Draco's table just in time. "Watch out Draco, you're going to need this." He said when he put the jar back on Draco's table.
Draco looked surprised. "Thanks." He said.
"Mr. Potter and Mr. Malfoy, I would appreciate it if you pay attention to class, thank you." Professor McGonagall said.
Harry turned back around and focused back on class.
After class, Hermione, Ron and Harry sat together in the Common Room.
Hermione was studying one of her books, and Ron sat next to her, looking at her admiringly with a smile on his face.
Harry sat across from them and was bored to death. He had been watching them for a long time now. Ron looked at Hermione like a lovesick puppy and Hermione, who didn't realize it at all, was studying. "I think I'm going to the library." He said after a while.
