Chapter 27

Draco sat on the floor, leaning against the railing with his knees pulled up. Tears ran down his cheeks. God, he missed Harry. Since that fight in the hospital wing, Draco felt empty. It just didn't make sense without Harry. Merlin! He wished so badly that he had a time turner and could undo whatever he did or didn't do wrong! He would do anything to just see Harry again.

Harry sneaked inside and closed the door carefully.

Draco immediately tensed up and looked at the door.

"Don't worry, it's just me." Harry took off the cloak.

Draco quickly wiped away his tears, but Harry had seen them. It hurt him to see Draco feeling bad because of his fault. He sat down next to Draco.

There was a moment of silence.

"Can't sleep?" Draco asked.

"Yeah."

"Because of Ron?"

"No."

"Why then?"

Harry was silent for a moment. "... Because I missed you..." He could see Draco's eyes glow.

"I missed you too..."

It was quiet again for a moment.

"What did I do wrong Harry?" Draco looked at him. "What did or didn't I do wrong? Please tell me! Why were you mad at me?" He asked with a lump in his throat.

"You didn't do anything wrong... I had no reason to get mad at you..."

"Then why did you get mad?" Draco asked.

Harry was silent for a moment. "Because I was jealous..."

"Jealous? Of me?"

Harry shook his head slowly.

"Who were you jealous of?"

"... Pansy..."

"Pansy? Why?"

Harry was silent for a long time. "... Cause I saw you two kissing..."

"W... what?"

"You're the person who I kept thinking of..."

"... What do you mean?" Draco asked, confused.

"What I'm trying to say is... Since that weekend you had to stay with us, I started falling in love with you... At first I didn't realize... I was just confused because you kept running through my mind... But then last week during potions... When we brewed Amortentia... I smelled you. Then I realized that Hermione was right... I really am in love with you..." Harry closed his eyes, afraid of Draco's reaction.

Draco's eyes widened. "Really?"

Harry nodded, his eyes still closed.

Draco felt the butterflies dance in his stomach. He could hardly believe it, Harry is in love with him too. He leaned over to Harry and kissed him gently.

Harry opened his eyes and looked at him in confusion.

Draco smiled. "God, you have no idea how long I've been wanting to kiss you." He kissed him.

Harry kissed him back and pulled him closer. He put his arms around Draco's neck.

After a while they let go.

Harry blushed and smiled shyly.

Draco chuckled softly.

Harry rested his head on Draco's shoulder and Draco pulled him closer.
