The next morning, Draco woke up and Harry was nowhere to be seen.

A little confused by Harry's absence, he sat up and looked around to see if Harry was there.

Suddenly he saw a white rose with a letter on his mattress. He got out of Harry's bed and picked up the rose with the letter.

Dear Draco,

Last night I realized that we've never been on a proper date, which I think is completely inappropriate. How can I ever ask for your hand if I haven't even asked you a decent date? Your dad will never give you to me, at least not without me asking you on a decent date.

Draco laughed.

So that's what we're going to do today. I got up early to arrange some things. I'm sorry you had to get up on your own, but now you understand why. Come to the garden at half past ten. Make sure you are dressed warm, it's very cold outside, and I think it's going to snow. Now, go have breakfast, you must be hungry. I'll see you in the garden. If you want to go on a date with me, of course.

Sincerely,

Harry James Potter.

Draco chuckled. He checked Harry's alarm clock.

It was half past nine. That meant he had an hour left before he had to be in the garden.

He got up and got dressed.

The Great Hall was very empty, which was normal for Christmas.

There were a number of students at the Ravenclaw table. Two Hufflepuffs and three Ravenclaws.

Two third-year girls sat at the Slytherin table.

When Draco sat down at the Slytherin table, they blushed at him and began to giggle.

Sorry girls, he thought. This Slytherin is taken.

After breakfast he went to the garden.

It had started snowing during breakfast and there was already a fairly thick layer of snow.

Draco was glad he had put on his hat, scarf and gloves. He brushed the snow off a bench and sat down. He wondered what Harry had prepared.

Suddenly his view was blocked by two warm hands.

"Good morning love, did you sleep well?" Harry asked.

Draco smiled. "Yes, but it was cold when I woke up." He pouted.

"I'm sorry boo, but I had to. I had to do this if I want to ask for your hand in the future."

Draco felt butterflies in his stomach and flushed.

Harry stood in front of him. "Come on," He reached out to Draco. "Can I call you my princess?"

Draco took Harry's hand and turned all red.

"I'll take that as a yes." Harry led Draco into the courtyard and through to the gate of the school.

"Where are we going?" Draco asked.

"Hogsmeade." Harry replied.

"Wait, that's not allowed, is it?"

"I've arranged something." Harry said with a wink.

"What are we going to do there?"

"Whatever you want. You can choose." Harry led Draco up the path to Hogsmeade.

"Well my princess, what are we going to do?" He asked.

"I want to go to honeydukes." Draco replied.

"As you wish my princess."

Draco chuckled and walked with Harry to honeydukes.

They joked around in honeydukes, bought a lot of candy and chocolate.

Harry insisted on buying Draco candy cause he knows Draco is a sweet tooth.

After that, Draco dragged Harry to his favorite clothing shop because he wanted to buy something new for Harry.

"But I love my jeans!" Harry protested.

"Yes, but this is going to suit you, trust me."

"Fine, but I'm not saying I'm going to buy it!"

"Don't worry, if you don't buy it I'll buy it and you will have an extra Christmas present."

Harry laughed and shook his head. "You're incredible, you know that?"

"Oh, I know, I'm the best." Draco held his head up high.

They burst out laughing.

It was already noon when they left the shop.

"Shouldn't we go to the Great Hall?" Draco asked when they got back to school and Harry led him to the garden.

"Nope, like I said earlier, I've arranged something." Harry used a some spells to make a clearing in the snow for them to sit.

They sat down on the grass somewhere, under a tree, close to the black lake.

"Are you hungry, princess?" Harry asked.

"Yes I'm quite hungry actually."

"Something you would like to eat?"

"Nothing specific no, you choose."

"As you wish my princess." Harry waved his wand and

Draco took the rose and smelled it. "Always the white rose." He said softly.

"I want to remind you how beautiful you are and how much I love you." Harry said shyly.

Draco smiled. He kissed Harry on the cheek. "I love you too Harry, you'll never understand how much."

They looked each other in the eye for a while.

God Draco loves those eyes. They are so pure and vibrant... He has always loved those eyes from the moment he saw them for the first time...

"Let's eat." Harry said after a while.

"Yes sounds good." Draco said.

They started to eat.

Hmm... Something is missing. Draco thought.

"What's wrong princess?" Harry asked.

"Something is missing... Ah I know what." Draco waved his wand He'd also used a heating spell so they could take off their coats and finally he made a bunch of beautiful, colourful flowers appear on the picnic blanket next to him.

"What's with the flowers?" Harry asked as he took off his coat.

"You'll see." Draco waved his wand one last time and the beautiful flowers weaved together into a wreath. He put the wreath on Harry's head. The bright pink, red, yellow, orange, purple and blue flowers set off perfectly with Harry's bright emerald eyes.

Harry smirked. He took Draco's white rose and stuck it in Draco's hair.

Draco blushed.
