The next morning Harry was awakened by Ron. He didn't want to get up and only got out of bed because the Quidditch game was after breakfast and he couldn't let the team down. He still felt bad. He sighed and poked his scrambled eggs with his fork.
"Harry, you need to eat, you're going to need the energy." Hermione said worried.
"I'm not hungry." He shrugged.
"Come on mate, you'll feel better if you eat something. You like Quidditch, remember?" Ron said.
"Come on Harry," Fred said.
"The team needs its seeker." George said encouraging him.
"All right then." Harry said. He slowly began to eat his breakfast.
After breakfast, Harry, Ron, George, and Fred went to the field with their brooms, for Oliver's usual elongated speech and warm-up.
"Okay listen guys," Oliver said when everyone was there. "You know the tactics, you know what to pay attention to the most, this will be all right" ....
Oliver continued his speech but no one was really listening. In the meantime, the audience had already sat down in the stands.
Harry saw Hermione sitting in the audience with Luna, Ginny and Neville. Hagrid stood next to them, being quite eye-catching, since very tall.
Madam Hooch was ready to start the game, waiting only for Oliver to finish his annoying speech.
"I just want to say, the most important thing is you do your best, but we have to win this okay? Slytherin must not win! Let's go!"
They went to their spots together with their brooms, ready for the game to begin.
Madam Hooch whistled and the game began.
Harry flew into the sky. He looked around to see if he could see the snitch, but he couldn't see it anywhere. He did everything he could to avoid looking in Draco's direction. He could feel Draco's gaze on him.
Harry was hit hard in the head by a bludger and fell off his broom.
He hadn't been paying attention, he was too deep in his thoughts. The thought of Draco and Pansy kissing wouldn't leave his mind, no matter how hard he tried to forget it. He felt like his heart was broken into a thousand pieces.
The bludger hit him right on his head and he fell off his broom.
He didn't notice it, since the bludger had knocked him out. Luckily, Harry fell in the sand or he might have broken his neck.
Hermione, Ginny, Luna and Neville ran as quickly as possible to the field.
Fred and George had been busy with the other bludger and weren't there in time to save Harry.
Ron became distracted by Harry falling and nearly missed the quaffle that Flint was trying to throw into goal.
Draco had seen everything happen. He watched the bludger hit Harry's head, he saw how Harry fell off his broom and fell into the sand.
"No! No!!" Draco flew to Harry as fast as he could and got to him first. He jumped off his broom before it had landed and ran to Harry. "Harry? Harry, can you hear me!?"
Harry didn't respond.
Draco panicked completely. Tears ran down his cheeks.
Hermione, Neville, Luna, and Ginny soon came running onto the field, followed by Professor McGonagall.
Ron also flew over to them.
"Mr. Potter, can you hear me?" Professor McGonagall leaned over him.
