Dear Harry,
I'm happy to hear that everything is going well there. Thank you for the beautiful rose, I love it. I'm doing great, I enjoy the holidays. I read a lot of books and I played chess with my father and I take occasional walks with my mother. I'm getting pretty good at chess (maybe I can beat Ron).
Fred and George's joke sounds great, wish I could have heard Ron scream, that must have been great fun.
Tell Ginny not to push you off your broom or I'll come and push her off her broom.
I would really like to play Quidditch with you, but I'm not allowed to go visit anyone yet. My father says I can visit Crabbe in August. I will then visit you. Maybe I can see Hermione too then.
I miss you very much too, you don't want to know how much I miss you. I thought different bedrooms was bad, but different houses is hell. I miss your hugs, I miss your kisses, I miss your soft hair, your beautiful bright eyes... Merlin, you really have no idea... We only have to hold on for a few more weeks and then I will come to the burrow. I've been practicing on apparating to further places and I am getting very good at it, as soon as I'm allowed, I will come to you as often as possible.
Tell Mrs. Weasley that it's very sweet of her that she has made a new recipe just for me and that I really want to taste it. Tell her I'll come in August so she can make them then.
I miss you very much too, everyone.
Tell Fred and George I can't wait to prank Ron.
Well, well love, you shouldn't bother Ginny like that! (Just kidding I miss you a lot too). Tell her that when I come over I'd like to learn how to braid her hair, (I bet she looks great with pigtails).
I don't know anything about Ron missing me (I miss him too, don't tell him okay? You probably will anyways).
I can't wait to see you again.
I gave Hedwig some treats and now she's staring at me like she wants to leave so I'll stop writing.
I love you very much.
Sincerely,
Draco Lucius Malfoy
Harry sighed on his bed after reading the letter.
"What does he say?" Ron asked.
"Nothing special, what he has been doing the last days, that he thinks Fred and George's prank they played on you hilarious and he writes that he can come over in August." Harry sighed again.
"You can keep it up until August and then you'll be even happier to see him again."
"I just miss him so much."
"I understand how you feel, I miss Hermione very much, but that is life."
"Yeah, but Hermione will arrive in two weeks. I don't know when Draco is coming, he may not be able to come for another three weeks!"
"Draco will come as soon as possible, he probably misses you just as much as you miss him. There's no way he's going to wait longer than necessary to see you again."
"I hope so," Harry said.
"I'm sure of it, come on now let's go downstairs or else mom will get angry that we're late for dinner."
"Yeah, I'll answer his letter later." Harry followed Ron downstairs and they sat down at the table.
"I saw Hedwig fly by, did you get a letter from Draco?" Ginny asked, coming inside.
Harry nodded.
"What did he say?" George and Fred asked at the same time.
"He is said..." Harry told them what Draco wrote.
Dear Draco,
Every day I miss you more than the day before. It's a shame I have to wait so long to see you again, but I'll wait for you and the day you finally come I'll be the happier to see you, that's what Ron says at least. I'm sure he's right, but I would much rather see you more sooner...
Fred and George are really excited about you joining the prank, they can't wait.
Ginny is very happy that you want to learn how to braid, she kept on saying how happy she is that you are my boyfriend and that you are the perfect brother-in-law, which Mrs. Weasley agrees with. (Me too, by the way).
Ron is angry that I told you he misses you, but I think he is glad you miss him too (I told him, sorry).
I heard from Hermione that she's coming a week earlier, I don't know if she told you.
Ron is very enthusiastic and nervous. He drives everyone crazy, every time he's ranting about how nervous he is to see Hermione, I keep on thinking, if Draco was here he would have slapped him in the face and said "Ronald Bilius Weasley! Get yourself together!" That just says how much I miss you. Everyone goes crazy even by just me saying your name, haha, I guess I'm talking too much about you...
I'm looking forward to see Hermione (then I have someone to talk to about you again). She misses you too, she wrote, but you probably already know that. And she says she misses Ron very much too. She talks a lot about him in her letters (obviously), she's almost as bad as me when it comes to talking about our boyfriends (I'm much worse though, but I can't help but love you so much).
Okay, I'll just stop writing because I can write books about how much I love you.
Anyways, I hope you are doing well. I miss you very much.
I love you.
Your desperately waiting prince,
Harry James Potter.
Draco chuckled softly and laid down on his bed with a deep, amorous sigh. Thousands of butterflies danced through his stomach. "I miss you too Harry..." He whispered softly.
Harry was talking to Ginny on her bed while trying to braid her hair, which wasn't going very well, but he did his best!
He had just finished braiding when he noticed a red glow on her hair, redder than Ginny's hair. For a few seconds, he was a little confused, but quickly realized what was happening. He looked at the glowing stone of his ring, which soon died out. He felt butterflies in his stomach.
It happened a lot more often in school that his ring would glow, but he never really paid attention, knowing that Draco was just talking about him. But now, now that he barely saw Draco, it felt good to see Draco saying his name.
"What is it, Harry?" Ginny asked, realizing that Harry was no longer focused on her hair.
"He said my name..." Harry said while still looking at his ring.
"Who?" Ginny asked, turning around in confusion.
"Draco." Harry answered.
Draco was sitting at his desk writing a letter to Harry when the stone on his ring suddenly lit up. He smiled.
Harry saw him say his name.
"Haaarrryyy!" Draco whispered.
Harry's stone glowed again, this time much longer than the first time.
Harry chuckled. "He saw me saying his name. Draacoo!" He said.
"How can he see that?" Ginny asked.
"Well," Harry explained to her how the ring worked.
"Oohw! He bought this for you!? That's so cute!!"
Harry laughed. "It is, isn't it?"
Draco's stone glowed again.
He smiled. "I love you, Harry." He went back to writing his letter.
