Their wedding took place a few months after Harry's proposal. It was a small, private wedding, with only close friends and family attending it. It was a beautiful wedding. Everyone was very happy, especially Harry and Draco.

After that, they went on a long honeymoon in France, enjoying being a fresh, young, married couple.

Life was great.

They decided to adopt both a cat and a dog, as they couldn't decide which of the two animals they wanted more. They named the dog Sirius, because the dog was a similar breed to Sirius' animagus form and the cat they named Mr. Kittens, because Draco thought it was awesomely ironic and Harry would never be able to say no to Draco.

"Oh my god Ginny, you look gorgeous!" Draco said when Ginny came out of the fitting room.

"Yes, you look beautiful, Gin." Hermione said.

Ginny smiled shyly. "Thanks guys."

Draco, Hermione and Ginny had gone to Diagon Alley to do some shopping together.

"Come on, let's go pay." Hermione said.

They paid and left the store.

"Where shall we go now?" Ginny asked.

"No idea, you an idea Dray?"

Draco didn't answer.

"Draco?" Hermione turned to Draco.

Draco stared straight ahead.

Hermione followed his gaze, confused, to then see none other than Lucius Malfoy. "Let's go." She said as her arm hooked into Draco's and she turned around.

Draco nodded.

"Let's go get some ice cream." Ginny suggested.

"I'd love that." Draco said cheerfully, almost having forgotten who he had just seen.

"Draco...?" A familiar voice suddenly said behind him.

Draco ignored it as best he could, feeling tears stinging his eyes.

Ginny took his free hand and squeezed it lightly.

Draco smiled sweetly at her.

"Draco don't ignore me." Lucius said more fiercely.

"Come on, I want some ice cream." Hermione said as they walked faster through the alley.

"Draco, don't ignore your father!" Lucius said sternly.

Hermione had had enough. She turned abruptly to him. "Mr. Malfoy, I would appreciate it if you would leave us alone, Draco does not feel like having any contact with you."

"How dare you talk to me, you filthy mudblood!" Lucius said in disgust.

Draco turned around. "I would like it if you don't call my friends names, sir, thank you very much." He said.

"You don't talk to your father like that, Draco!"

"I do what I want, I'm a grownup man, I get to decide my own life, and I don't want you in mine, have a nice day." With those words, Draco turned back and continued on his way to the ice cream shop with Hermione and Ginny.

"Young man, you're coming home right now!" Lucius said angrily.

"In your dreams." Draco replied.

"Draco Lucius Malfoy! You will come right back home with me!" Lucius exclaimed.

Draco took a deep breath and turned. "My name is Draco Potter! I would appreciate if you used my real name! Leave us alone before I sue you!" Draco sneered at him the way his "father" had taught him all those years ago and turned to leave.

They went for ice cream and returned home after that.

"Hi dear, how was it?" Harry asked when Draco got home.

"It was good, I suppose." Draco said with a shrug as he sat down on the couch.

"What is it?" Harry asked as he sat down next to his husband.

"I saw my father," Draco sighed. "He tried to get me back home."

Harry put an arm around him compassionately. "Forget him, you don't have to see him anymore."

Draco sighed.

Harry pulled him closer, giving him a kiss on the cheek. "Shall we watch a movie?"

Draco nodded.

"Come on, you get to choose the movie." Harry said as they went upstairs.

They spend the rest of the night watching movies and cuddling in bed.
