No One's POV

Beomgyu dropped Taehyun off at his first-class and saw Kai already sitting down sleeping as usual. Beomgyu shook him up to try and get him to talk to Taehyun, it was hard at first so he had to threaten a plushie before he finally got up.

Kai was a little dazed at first but once he saw the blonde he immediately started yapping away, Kai probably still feels a little sorry for the shorter from what happened a week ago.

Taehyun didn't have any of his school supplies with him but luckily most of his books were in his locker or Hueningkai could share with him, he also didn't have PE today so he didn't have to change either.

Beomgyu was heading to his locker to see a few letters sticking out as usual. While he was pulling them out of the slit, one fell out and fell on the ground. It didn't look like the normal letters he got, this one had big red letters that were the color of blood spelling out Beomgyu's name.

The bell was about to ring so he put the rest of the letters in the basket but stuffed the peculiar one in his backpack, planning on reading it later. Beomgyu has gotten letters like this before but it's not that common, it was mostly because they didn't like his dad, but as Beomgyu's said before there are not a lot of people like that.

Beomgyu saw Yeonjun and Soobin heading to their classes on the way to mine so he waved to them, but no one waved back because they were too busy unconsciously flirting.

Beomgyu made it to his class but it felt a little different, it was quiet. Usually, there would be people swarming around him asking about his plans for the week, but this time everyone was side-eyeing him giving him a look of disgust.

It felt better that he was left alone for once, but it was like a warning that something unfortunate was about to happen. Beomgyu felt a little wary but tried to calm his nerves to get ready for the class.

"ATTENTION!" The teacher walked in, surveying his class filled with advanced math students. Lots of them had bought their placements, but Beomgyu made it clear that his intelligence was the only thing driving him in school. Mr. Kim held his usual cold, calm expression, but his eyes were a bit out of focus.

How peculiar.

His hand harshly gripped what seemed like a poster that hung on one of the school's walls."Who did this?" His voice rasped a bit at the end, holding a threat at the edge of every word. There were a few confused glances here and there, but most people were simply trying not to make eye contact.

"WHO DID THIS?" The outbreak from Mr. Kim was completely unexpected; even Beomgyu flinched. He's never been this mad. And Beomgyu didn't want to know the cause of it.

After the deafening silence still followed, the tension in Mr. Kim's arm loosened enough to smoothen some of the poster's wrinkles. The red letters were bright enough to read from miles away, however, Beomgyu still couldn't process them. He wasn't sure he wanted to.

BEOMGYU LIKES A DIRTY ORPHAN

"Beomgyu, wait-" Mr. Kim tried to stop him from sprinting out the door, but he didn't care anymore. Nothing else mattered in the world...except him. Beomgyu had to make sure Taehyun was okay.

He ran towards the stairs, pushing any stragglers out of the way. He mentally cursed himself for being so stupid. The letter was simply the first warning. He should've known it from that moment. This was the second one, and whoever was behind it wanted to do actual harm.

It didn't seem like his fellow classmates, judging by their attitude, would care. But he did care. Not about himself. Taehyun. He pounded on the same frame he saw him walk through this morning. The teacher, a bit frantic, quickly unlocked the door and asked him what the issue was.
