No One's POV

As they were laying in the sand for a few more minutes, doing nothing but admiring each other, a little bit of small talk here and there, adding in a few bits of laughter. It was completely dark now, you couldn't even tell if there were any clouds in the sky. Regardless of the clouds being there or not, the stars were still shining brightly, twinkling in the noir sky.

After a few minutes earlier, Taehyun rolled off the brunet and instead used the older's arm as a pillow as they both looked up to the sky.

The phone rang right as they ended another short childhood story from Beomgyu's side. Beomgyu looked to the side, trying to find his phone but was met with the helmet instead. So he stood up, causing Taehyun to look up at the older. He took his phone and accepted the call, not looking at the caller ID yet. He should probably fix that habit.

"Hello?" Beomgyu asked. At first, some shuffling was heard, but then a loud voice came through the speaker. Almost causing Beomgyu to drop his phone.

'Beomgyu?! How are you not back yet? The movie ended like an hour ago and Taehyun said that you'll be back before it ends.' He didn't even need to look down at his phone to know who it was. In the first second, he could already tell it was Soobin calling. His motherly nagging was pretty much his trademark now. Taehyun, who was standing from the side, was also startled by the yells coming from the phone.

Both of them turned to each other in silence, and after a few seconds, burst out laughing to Soobin's surprise on the other end. But before he could react, Beomgyu hung up and reached for Taehyun, pulling him up with him. He put his arm around the blonde, walking back to the motorcycle for the retreat back to the rest of their friends.

With each other's hands in one and their helmet in the other, they walked down the sandy ground to where the motorcycle was parked. The cool breeze helping with the burning feeling in both their cheeks. But still, the heat was overpowering, never in a bad way.

Sitting in the same position as last time, they continued their journey back home. Taehyun didn't need to worry about being scared on the bike anymore. He had already experienced it and realized that it wasn't as bad as he thought, but it could partially be because of the sense of security he found with Beomgyu.

In fact, Taehyun felt so secure that he found himself drifting off into sleep. He wrapped his hands around Beomgyu's torso, keeping a firm grip, and gently laid his head against the older's back. Snuggling against the soft fabric of Beomgyu's shirt. The leather jacket was a little loose, but for the most part, it kept the blonde snug. The perfect conditions for a peaceful nap.

Now that Taehyun thought about it, he hasn't had trouble sleeping recently at all. Ever since he moved out from the dreaded orphanage, which had only reminded him of how lonely he was at the point, the occurrences of the nightmares had decreased significantly.

Though it could come back at any moment, especially with the new traumatic experience, replacing the old one, he had some hope. Something he hasn't had in the past. Taehyun would very much want to keep his peaceful sleeping, the new emotions, and feelings. And he wasn't planning on losing it any time soon.

They had finally reached their house after a few more minutes of riding in the dark. The house still had the lights shining throughout the entire house, meaning everyone was still awake. And as usual, there was no sign of Beomgyu and Taehyung's parents anywhere.

When Beomgyu stood up from the bike, Taehyun was about to fall forward, but luckily the older caught him. He didn't even realize that the younger had fallen asleep. Other than the fact that he was completely silent and had minimal movement, there was no way of telling.
