Everybody talked about the match between Hyotei's King and the manager. No one expected the manager to bet that good at etnnis and many of the boys from the tennis club believed Ranfa was wasting her potential only as the manager when she's good enough to join the girl's club and possibly take the Nationals.
"Hmph! It's already expected that she can't beat Atobe-sama! It's expected!"
"Yeah!"
The girls, however, were blinded by Atobe's prowess that they undermined Ranfa's skills and the fact she too pushed Atobe to the point where he's evolving his Insight much further. Well, girls at such an age would only think about love and boys.
Wherever Ranfa went, girls whispered behind her back, all talking about it's expected she would lose to Atobe. Ranfa didn't care about the talks because she's focusing on moving forward from where she fell. That's the sort of girl she was taught to be; stand up from where one fell down. She's not going to the tennis club at the moment because Atobe said she can have some time to herself as a treat.
At the tennis club, Gakuto and Oshitari were talking in the locker room. They were the last ones in there because they needed a breather from practice; they were busy training the 2nd years in order to perfect them for next year.
"Ranfa cried?" Gakuto was astonishd to hear that.
"Yeah. I held her until she told me to go home..." Oshitari would never forget how beautiful she looked when crying; that face will only be seen by him and no one else.
"Ranfa...she's crying because she is feeling weak, huh?"
"No."
"Yuushi?"
"Sakura is crying because she has been strong for too long..."
Outside of the locker room, Ootori Choutarou found it hard to go in because he's listening to his senpais talk about Ranfa.
"Sakura-san..." Choutarou whispered...
"Yuushi, do you think she's over yesterday?"
"It's not easy to be over things after a day."

During class, Hiyoshi would occasionally glance at the pink haired girl next to him. She has been very quiet and he wondered if she was okay.
"Hm?" Ranfa felt something thrown to her lap and it was a folded note. She secretly read it.
--Are you okay?--
She looked at Hiyoshi, his eyes focused on the teacher's rambling on the board. He heard writings beside him and then a piece of paper came onto his table. He stood his book up and then started to read the note he was given.
--Of course. What makes you think I'm not?--
A note was sent back to Ranfa after a while.
--You're quiet than usual. It's weird.--
--I'm just thinking, that's all.--
--About yesterday's match?--
--I haven't stopped thinking about it. Even now, I still couldn't believe only a day has passed since I lost. But never mind about me, how are you today?--
