"You hate me...?" Atobe's hair shadowed his eyes, making it unknown for the crying girl to see his expression.
Ranfa nodded, crying her tears out. She can't understand why she felt the need to cry about it when she wanted to hurt Atobe but why was it hurting herself much more? Did she not want to hurt him? What does she want?
"I... Senpai..." 'I want things to go back, I want to go back before it is too late-' Her wish was cut in an instant by Atobe's next words.
"I see. Then from this moment on, Ore-sama will look away." Atobe turned away from her and walked away to mind his own business like she had told him to do so. "It doesn't matter anymore..." He said to no one...
"Senpai..." She whispered his name, not wanting him to leave her. She wanted to tell him her wish but words refused to come out in a loud voice. "Don't go..."
Ranfa started making her way home. She just wanted to go home, sleep, and forget all about today. What happened to the her who doesn't give a damn about stupid people? What happened to the her who will tell a person their flaws? How did hurting words for Atobe turn out hurting herself in return? This has never happened to Ranfa before and she's wondering if there was a way for the mess to go away somehow.
'So much for going back to the past...' She didn't think she'd be the happiest when being with the tennis club but she was. She didn't plan to be their manager for long but she somehow did.
"Ranfa-chan?" Jirou was making his way home after buying snacks from Kanagawa. It was a good day for him since he visited Rikkai and even spent the day with Marui and his Doubles partner, "Are you oka- Have you been crying?"
When he asked that, Ranfa's tears started to free itself again. Ranfa told herself not to cry but she found herself crying even more. Jirou said nothing and comforted her, telling her it was okay and patting her on the head.
"Want to talk about it over snacks? It's okay..."
"It's not okay! It won't be okay!"
Jirou doesn't have a clue what the problem was but he can only hope she will smile somehow...
"Ah!" He then took her hand, "Ranfa-chan, let's go!"
"Eh?"
Atobe distracted himself by arranging to have a match with Sanada at Rikkai's ground. He needed something to make him forget completely about what happened before. Only tennis can make him forget about her for the time being.
Sanada refused at first but seeing that Atobe will not take no for an answer, he accepted to have a match with him.
After defeating Atobe, Sanada walked over to him.
"It seems like you are troubled."
"What makes you say that?" Atobe asked him, completely tired and annoyed.
"You're not like usual."
"Heh, I don't need you to tell me that. I will be coming often so prepare for the day you will lose to me."
"You are welcome to be defeated any time."
Back with Ranfa and Jirou, the two of them were playing tennis at a tennis court. Jirou said he wanted to have a game with her to relieve her from what was upsetting her.
"Senpai, I don't want to play..."
"You're the happiest when you play tennis though."
"I really don't want to..."
