Atobe found her within the crowd of people near the fire of the social dance. Ranfa didn't even notice she was at the place where she doesn't want to be and when she finally noticed the fire, she let out a sigh.

"Why am I here of all places...?"

"Isn't it because you really want to be here?" She looked at Atobe and then down at her feet when he said that with a small smile. "You're here anyway, why don't we dance?"

"With you?"

"With me." Atobe held his hand out for her to take, "Shall we dance, Milady?"

Many questions were running in her head as of now; has he forgotten that he wanted to put distance between them? Has he forgotten he has given her his answer? She can't understand what he's up to at all! Her Insight cannot read it at all!

Despite the thousands of questions, Ranfa reached a hand out to him without herself knowing.

'Why did I...?' Her thoughts did not get far because Atobe took her to the center of the invisible stage, dancing with her.

Many of the fangirls were glaring at Ranfa but their stares cannot get to her today because Ranfa's eyes did not leave Atobe's eyes.

"You're pretty good." Atobe complimented her, never making a mistake in the steps.

"You too."

"This is good. To be with me, you need to at least be able to dance."

"What are you saying, Senpai?" She was forcing a smile again and it really bothered him.

"You don't have to fake your smiles anymore, Ranfa."

"Then tell me, where is my real smile?" She asked him again with a fake smile. "I feel selfish, getting upset over something like a rejection..."

"Ranfa..."

"Everyone's eyes are on us." She looked round her to see the eyes of hate all aiming towards her only. She never let anyone's negativity bothered her one bit yet this guy was able to make her feel things. By the time she realized she shouldn't have let him bother her, it was too late. "Your fans are probably wishing I would burn in the fire."

"Do you think I would let that happen?"

"I'm not your anyone, you don't have to protect me."

"That Atobe...has he finally decided?" Gakuto was watching the dance between the king and queen with his teammates and he can tell there was a wall between them.

"If he keeps stopping because of past's guilt, he won't be able to break the wall between them..." Oshitari sighed, "Only Ranfa can make Atobe hesitate like this."

"He is not going to hurt her, right?" Hiyoshi asked, "We're the ones who have to clean up the mess if that were to happen."

"Atobe looks certain. I think Sakura will be fine." Shishido smiled, "I think we're all the ones who should worry about ourselves."

"Yeah..." Choutarou's a little heartbroken just like his teammates but he decided to keep looking ahead no matter what.

"Come on, Atobe..." Jirou really hope Atobe wouldn't screw up. He doesn't want to see Ranfa upset again.

Unknown to the Hyotei regulars, Zaizen was watching Ranfa and Atobe for a little while until he decided he doesn't need to be there anymore.

"Zaizen?" Kenya wondered why the younger suddenly started to walk away.

"It's fine."

"What? Hey, it's just a dance! Maybe they won't be together-"

"I have lost." Zaizen simply replied.
