'Ranfa likes Shishido...?' There was an indescribable feeling within his own heart. His heart that would beat for Ranfa suddenly shattered apart by the Dash Specialist's words. Atobe stood there, unable to say a thing. Why was that? Why were words clogged within his throat? Was it because he already felt he has lost? Was it because he will lose even more of his own heart if he dared to reach out? 'I see, Ore-sama has already lost before reaching out...' Atobe turned the opposite way and walked away. 'There is no reason anymore...' He has now lost all reasons to give her his heart.
"Damn..." What was this feeling inside of him?
"Atobe-sama! I made a bento for you! I made it out of love!" A female freshman approached him with a bento box wrapped in a pink cloth with heart patterns on it.
Looking at the bento box with pretty hearts, Atobe felt annoyance; why does the one girl he wanted to give his heart to unable to see him in her eyes?
"Get out of my way." Atobe ignored the girl and continued on his way. The King needed to be alone...
"Hm?" Ranfa turned around to see no one was there. Was it her imagination?
"There! Now leave Sakura alone!" Shishido will not accept violence bein brought upon to the kouhais he cared about and he will confront anyone about it, girl or boy.
"She likes you? That is bullshit!" The ringleader of the rabid fangirls refused to believe in Shishido's words.
"What the fuck?! She confessed to me at camp! I think I would know that since I was the one who received it!"
"Then, are you going out with her?!"
"I don't see how that's any of your business! Maybe I like our relationship being discreet!" Shishido then grabbed Ranfa's hand, "We're leaving. I'd rather knock my head against the wall than to explain to them about us. Let's go, Sakura."
"Y-yeah..." Ranfa allowed Shishido to lead her away from the fangirls. Ranfa looked back at the stunned girls and she gave them the middle finger in silence.
Once they were away from the fangirls, Shishido let go of her hand. He took her to the flower garden since no one was there but them.
"Sorry about that, Sakura."
"No problem. You saved me back there."
"I told you, I will look out for you."
"You have." Ranfa smiled at him, "Haha, and you told me to pretend that the confession never happened but it seems you haven't forgotten about it."
"Wha?! W-well it's impossible to forget about it! I mean, it's not often someone like me would get a confession..." He rubbed the back of his neck because he was a little nervous about answering her question. "Besides, just because of what happened, it doesn't change the fact I care about you as a kouhai."
"I know. I really appreciate that about you, Shishido-senpai."
"Don't go anywhere alone, Sakura. It's a good thing I was there."
"What do you want me to do? 'Hey, Oshitari-senpai, would you come to the toilet with me?' Yeah, that really is the way to go." She sarcastically answered.
"I-I guess not..." He realized he asked a stupid question.
"I will have to make sure I don't get surrounded."
"Or I'll just have to protect you again and again."
"You'll get bored."
"Don't dictate what I would get bored of."
