"You guys are going to watch Seigaku's match against Rikkai today, huh?" She's spending her break time with Hiyoshi in class. As much as the fangirls of Atobe in her class disliked her being in the same room as them, they didn't dare to approach her because of Hiyoshi's presence.
She may not be their manager anymore but that doesn't mean she doesn't know what the club was doing. She's relying on Hiyoshi to relay any new news to her. Hiyoshi doesn't mind being her little helper at all. If it's her, he's willing to do anything for her.
"Yes. Atobe-san said it will be a good thing for us to see what our opponent's in the next year are capable of."
"I see. Then, you guys go out there and have fun."
"Sakura, you also want to go, don't you?"
"What's the point of going? I am not your manager anymore."
"You still are to me."
"Hiyo-"
"I do whatever I want, you always know that."
Ranfa smiled at his words and shook her head, "You're right. You always do whatever you wish to once you set your eyes on it. It's for the sake of your motto."
"You really know me."
"Of course, you're a friend of mine. As unfriendly and weird your hobby is, you're a good friend to me."
"I don't know if that is a compliment or not."
"Don't worry, it's what makes you 'you' and that is just fine." She smiled at him.
Hiyoshi smiled at her words and took out his novel to read. He may have a book cover to cover up the front of the book but knowing him, she can guess the genre of the book in an instant.
"Horror, huh?" She asked him.
"You really do know me."
"It's not hard to guess."
"And the smell of blood rushed into the hero's nose-"
"Please don't read out loud..." When he heard that, he chuckled darkly.
"By the way, Sakura, your new hairstyle is not half bad." It's not hard for him to notice her change in hairstyle at all.
"I can't find my other ribbon."
"Why didn't you turn back to get it at the time?"
"Because if I turned my back at that moment, you all would have saw my tears. I would rather not let anyone see them."
"I see..." It's pretty admirable that a girl like her would rather cry alone rather than crying on another one's shoulder.
"I am guessing you all know why you are all here..." Atobe tried to turn a blind eye to the situation but it was hard not to since they deliberately go against his absolute orders.
Gakuto, Oshitari, Shishido, Choutarou, and Jirou all lined up at the club's locker room because Atobe called them to do so.
"When I said, no one is to associate with her, I mean it. Why are you all hanging out with her behind Ore-sama's back?"
"Atobe, don't you think you're being too cruel to Ranfa?" Gakuto asked him.
"Cruel? I don't think Ore-sama is cruel at all. If I was cruel, I would do whatever I can to get rid of her from school but I did not do that."
"Sakura is a good girl. Whatever she did to wrong you, that's your own problem, right?" Oshitari can sense the anger in Atobe's voice and he was rather interested in knowing the origin of the bitterness towards the girl. "You shouldn't let your own problems involve us."
