A few days has passed since her rejection. Her eyes, dry from the tears of sadness, no longer shedded a drop because she told herself she's got a very important role to play and she will play that role with all her might. Since she knew she's got an important role to play for the team, she told herself she will not cry. Even if she does cry, she will cry at a place where no one will see her. And if anyone do see her shed tears, let them see but tell not a word of the sorrow's origin.
Seeing she has been bottling her feelings up, Atobe decided to heal the pain she has been feeling. He has yet to know the origin of her sadness because she still refused to tell him. He can only hope it wasn't something very bad and long lasting.
It was finally the final day on the mountain. What should they do on this final day?
"Gakuto, why are you so persistent about catching a stag beetle?" Oshitari asked Gakuto.
"Why not? I really want one to bring back home! Hiyoshi is coming along, right?"
"I will amuse myself as you screw up."
"I'll take that as a very mean yes."
"Where did Shishido and Ootori go?" Atobe asked the trio.
"I heard Ootori saying something about taking pictures of nature." Oshitari said to him.
"Oh. Well it is a mountain where my cottage is located."
"I understand that part but you don't own the nature's beauty, Atobe."
"Hmph, do whatever you want. Jirou is obviously sleeping. What is Ranfa doing?"
"She said she is already doing something so we should not disturb her. When Jirou walked into her room, he was greeted with the Boston Crab."
"A wrestling hold...?" Atobe found it amusing; Ranfa can make anything possible if she put her mind to it. "Ore-sama will go and see Ranfa." Atobe ended the conversation right there.
Gakuto and the others parted the moment Atobe turned his back at them.
Of course Jirou would get the Boston Crab hold, he must have walked in without knocking. He knocked the door and he was greeted with a 'come in', permission granted to go in without being hurt.
"Senpai?"
'You look normal but I can tell you are forcing yourself...' "Have you forgotten about my words?" He asked her.
"Quit using your Insight on me."
"Look who is talking." He sat on her bed, "So, it's our last day on the mountain. Want to make the best of it?"
"What do you suggest?"
"Ore-sama will distract you from all bad thoughts, how about that?"
"I don't know what you are suggesting but good luck with that."
"Are you challenging me? You know I am always up for a challenge."
"Amuse me, Senpai." She smiled at him.
Back with Gakuto, Oshitari, and Hiyoshi, they were still looking for the stag beetle. However, they're a little side-tracked because they're doing something else.
"Bwahaha!!" was laughing too much because of what Hiyoshi said, "Another one, last one this time and then it's back to business."
What were they doing? They're saying things their captain would say.
