As Ranfa walked away in pain, the ribbon on her right wrist slipped and flowed with the wind.
'I want to get it back but I am afraid of looking back. If I look back, I will miss being their manager...' Never looking back no matter what, she continued to walk on. Each step on her way out of the club's area made her think about the beginning to this point. She came to love playing tennis and become interested in it once again all because she became their manager. She initially became the manager with intentions of getting the girls tennis club's captain jealous just to get her back but she found herself in a position where she enjoy her job for real.
"Wait!" Gakuto was a few steps behind her, looking at her with a very concerned face, "Ranfa, don't go..."
"Senpai, stay there. Don't look at me from the front..." It didn't take a genius to tell that she was crying.
"Atobe must be having a bad day! Yeah! You know how he is-"
"I have no more use to the club anymore. That is all there is..."
"That doesn't mean you have to go! Shishido was defeated once but he managed to stay behind in the end-"
"That is because he is a guy in a boys tennis club. That sort of privilege is not for me."
"Ranfa..." Gakuto doesn't want this to happen at all!
"I lost. I lost badly and my worth is used up. That is all there is."
"It's not true! I know you wouldn't just walk away like that! Tell me you will come back and kick Atobe's ass!"
Ranfa ignored Gakuto's words and continued on her way. Gakuto wanted to call her back but Oshitari touched his shoulder and shook his head, telling him not to chase after her.
"Let Sakura be alone."
"Yuushi!" Gakuto then looked back at Atobe with an annoyed expression.
Gakuto wasn't the only one who was annoyed. The others were equally annoyed at Atobe's sudden execution.
"Atobe-san, why are you doing this?!" Choutarou should have stayed behind. He should have stayed! He doesn't know how he could have prevented what happened but he should have been there to defend her when he had the chance to! "Why are you making Sakura-san leave?!" Choutarou cried tears for Ranfa; she always worked hard for everyone, always thinking about everyone and make ways to help them improve much more. Seeing her being treated this way hurts him.
"Why? Because we no longer have use of her. Didn't Shishido say that from the very beginning? 'The club doesn't need a girl'."
Not appreciating being brought up to the subject's surface, Shishido snapped back at Atobe, "Why are you bringing me into this?! That was the past!"
"Ranfa-chan's notes always helped us-" Jirou didn't get a chance to finish his sentence because Atobe forced his absoluteness in without a care in the world. We don't need her to tell us advice. We will do fine without her!"
"Ranfa..." Gakuto was very worried about the pink haired girl. The poor girl must be crying elsewhere all on her own...
"From now on, I don't want any of the club members associating with her. I will have daily reports given to me during school hours so don't even think about going against my order. That is all."
"But I am in her class." Hiyoshi said to him, "Do I have to change class because of that?" Hiyoshi sarcastically answered.
"Fine, you can have the exception since you are classmates. Nobody associates with her during break. That is all." Atobe walked away, not as a king but as a tyrant...
