A/N: This is the first time for me to do an Author's Note in the beginning of a fic but I feel it is important to do so. In Prince of Tennis OVA 8 of the Nationals Arc, there was a scene in which Atobe tells this girl "Get out of my way, bitch." I want to clarify that the subbers were wrong on the 'bitch' bit. Before anyone refutes me, I have studied Japanese in GCSE and A level in UK so I would know just by hearing. He says '邪魔だ, メス猫' (Jama da, Mesuneko).
Now, 'Jama da' is right in the subs but 'Mesuneko' refers to a female CAT, not a female dog. So yeah, Atobe did NOT call the girl a 'bitch' though I am not saying he wasn't rude but hahahaha, it Atobe! XD)
"Game and match! Seigaku! 6-4!"
When the umpire said that, it meant Seigaku will by Hyotei's next opponent. Atobe and everyone here witnessed Tezuka's true form and the technique that he has kept sealed. After witnessing enough of Tezuka's Muga no Kyouchi's first door, Hyaku Ren Jitoku no Kiwami, Atobe decided to leave.
"Ranfa, let's go."
"Senpai? Hey..." Ranfa followed him, wondering what was wrong with him, "Is something on your mind?" She didn't get an answer from him and they did not get far either as a girl approached them with a smile on her face and a bentou box wrapped with a pink cloth. Ranfa recognized the girl, Kitazono Kotoha, she's Tsubakikawa's boys' tennis club's manager.
"Atobe-sama! I made lunch for you!" Behind her cheerful smile was a look that telepathically told Ranfa to go away and leave them alone.
Ranfa rolled her eyes at the other manager's bold advance to Atobe and was about to go back to the others but Atobe grabbed hold of Ranfa's wrist.
"Eh?" Ranfa and Kotoha said at the same time.
"Don't get in the way, minx." Ranfa looked at him with a look that screamed 'Woah'!
"S-senpai..."
"Hmph," Atobe looked back at his team, "What are you wasting your time for? Let's go!"
Everyone stared at Atobe with a strange look; Atobe's not usually like this to his fangirls, no matter how annoying they may be at the time. Was Atobe in a bad mood? What stirred such an irritated emotion in him?
"It's getting interesting, isn't it?" She suddenly said, "Tezuka-senpai's true form... As irritated you are, even you can tell things are getting interesting, right?"
Atobe said nothing to answer her question, "What are you doing afterwards?"
"Me?" She looked back to see the others have caught up. With a smile on her face, she told Atobe her plan of the day, "I am going on a date with Mukahi-senpai and Hiyoshi."
"Eh?!" Gakuto and Hiyoshi were both shocked at her words! A date?!
"I see... I will see you tonight." Atobe didn't bother asking for permission because that's the way he was and Ranfa was fine with that.
"Fine by me."
'Is this the legendary three way I have heard about?!' Gakuto was blushing madly and his mind was racing here and there so fast that he didn't even notice Ranfa grabbed his hand along with Hiyoshi's.
"W-why am I going too...?" Hiyoshi avoided eye contacts with Ranfa no matter what but he can't stop his heart from beating out of normality.
"You don't want to?" Ranfa looked disappointed when he glanced for a second. She made him cough once and clear his throat.
"F-fine. I'll go because somebody has to keep an eye on Mukahi-san. Listen, I am not going because I want to."
"Yes, yes..." Ranfa took them with her, completely oblivious to the others' mouth agape reaction...
