Epílogos

Just like how the waves claim the sea. It takes a part of the shore, crashing the highest stone to create a weathered cliff. Screaming at the world: I am here! No one can stop me! Just like how the water took over the land. It reclaimed it's own territory.

From a narrow river stream the small waves became a part of the ocean.

Magkakasamang nanonood ang mga demigods galing Institute at Camp Semideus. Naghihintay sa seremonyas na gagawin upang bigyan gantimpala ang grupo ng anak ng mga Olympians. Binuksan para sa lahat ang kampo nila Atheo upang maisagawa ito.

Just for this day. 

The demigods from different sides have proven that they are capable of uniting as one. Ngayon ko din napatunayan kung paano nila pahalagahan ang isa't-isa.

I made a staircase leading to a circular platform made of water. Which rose six feet above it's surface. Sa lawa mismo gaganapin ang pagbibigay ng pabuya para sa kanila. Ordered by Zeus. Pinangunahan naman ni Hades ang pasasalita. Ang ibang diyos ay nandito din tulad ni  Aphrodite, Athena, Artemis, Hephaestus at Ares. Nagpadala naman ng alak si Dionysus (only for the pact of unity). The whole place looks festive as it is filled with demigods, foods and beverages for everyone.

A curtain of water flows behind the platform. Demeter made a staircase out branches for the demigods to hold on to.

"I present to you the children of Olympians!"

Napuno ng palakpakan, sigawan at pagsipol ang lugar. Ang iba ay nangingiti habang umaakyat sa hagdan ang labing isang demigods. Pinauna nilang umakyat ang mga anak ni Zeus, sumunod ang kay Hera hanggang sa umabot sa anak ni Hades. 

Kaito, my son is fourth to reach the platform.

I'm proud of you my son!

She's with you. Always.

Tinanguan niya lang ako noong nakapunta na sa kanyang pwesto. He is different from the scared child that was brought in this place ages ago. He conquered fear and death to protect everyone. I know there will be a time that he will have his own family. 

Kaius Torrin will be a good father to his children.

Iris sent a rainbow above the platform where they are standing. Maraming namangha sa nakitang ayos ng kinatatayuan ng mga demigods. Namimilog ang mga mata at laglag pangang nakatulala sa kanila. Nakarinig pa ako ng isang nagsabi na makakatapak din siya sa Olympus at makikita ang mga Olympians ng kumpleto.

They will meet us but not on our thrones. 

Napatigil ang lahat dahil sa boses ni Hera. Only her voice is heard. Nanggagaling ito sa langit. It is velveteen and adoring. admiring  the heroes and heroin presented to them as they sit on their thrones above.

The demigods kneel and bow their heads to receive their gifts.

"You... Demigods have proven your worth and purpose. I shall bestow you with blessings under Zeus, the king of the heavens. For you have shown us your strength and courage. You have chosen the path that the Fates has aligned you to walk to. The time is near but rejoice for all of you has passed the test of time and destiny."

Sunod na narinig ang boses ni Zeus na kumuha ng atensyon ng lahat.

"Rise demigods!" sabay-sabay na tumayo ang mga ito at tumingin sa ami. They were powerful while standing there. What more of their new abilities. 

A light rain falls down on the chosen demigods. It was followed by a ray of sun and shower of flower petals that falls to the ground. Sinasalo ng mga batang demigods ang mga ito. Others were just mesmerized, staring at us and back to them. 

It is followed by cheers from everyone. Including the nymphs and the satyrs. The celebration started as everyone is excited. Nakihalubilo ang ilang diyos sa mga bagong dating lalo na sina Artemis at Athena. Scouting scholars and new members of the tribe.

Their time is tested. This is just the start. Wala pa sila sa dapat nilang puntahan. 

Pinakilala din sa akin ni Kaito si Erina.  She got him under her fingers.

Aphrodite's daughter, huh? Nice choice kiddo!

Pagkatapos ng kasiyahan ay balik sa dati ang lahat matapos ang ilang araw. Training their new abilities and controlling it. Sinasabayan din sila ng ibang demigods. Ang iba ay sumama kay Artemis kinabukasan pag-alis niya. 

"Have they been warned?" Athena leers at me.

Napaangat ako ng tingin sa kanya, "About what?"

Apollo clears his throat. I'm not used to him getting all serious. "A mortal has been with you all the time. Didn't you felt that?"

"I felt her presence." 

I knew it already. Before I even set my foot to that place. I chose to ignore it for the sake of not destructing the ceremony. it will only cause distruction. Alam kong magagawan nila iyon ng solusyon. I'll trust them on this one.

They are smart enough not to be fooled.

"She'll suffer if she stay longer," dagdag ni Demeter.

"Let the mortal suffer. She chose the wrong direction. She stepped in the wrong territory," Artemis shrugs.

"Let me have the mortal,"  Hermes sheepishly smiles.

Walang pumansin sa kanya at tinuon namin ang mga mata sa mga demigods. Some of them are in the mortal realms. Others are just newborns. While one is at the entrance to the underworld.

Zeus has a dark look on his face. Kasing itim ng mga ulap na pinapalabas niya ang tingin niya sa demigod na ito. Tumakbo papasok sa cabin ang mga demigods na nag-e-ensayo pabalik sa mga cabin nila. Gales howl with thunder and lightning. 

The mortal has no idea what she's getting into.

She's been placed in the trap.

Or maybe,

...she's the bait to the trap.

"Time to fulfill their destiny."
