Rewriting History (Link x OC) {Hiatus}

Chapter 19

A blue Rito landed in front of Link, a smirk plastered on his beak. Red instantly recognised it as Revali. Though history books made him out to be taller than most Rito, not... shorter. "Who would've thought?"

Link seemed to be holding back a groan which made Red want to chuckle. "Well done. I suppose I should thank you two now that my spirit is free. This returns Medoh to its rightful owner!" Revali seemed actually grateful for what he and him had done, which surprised Red seeing how he acted the whole time. Revali then huffed "Don't preen yourself just for doing your job." that took away hope from Red that he was truly grateful.

"I do suppose you've proven your value as a warrior." The Rito directed what he said mostly at Link. "A warrior worthy of my unique ability. The sacred skill that I have dubbed Revali's gale!" Red stared for a moment. It kinda made sense, seeing as Mipha gave her powers to Link as well, but after the whole time here, on Medoh, he thought Revali would keep his powers to himself.

Revali summoned a ball of light above his head before sending it to Link's chest, much like Mipha did. Suddenly, a burst of air sent Link up, Red felt fear rush through him before Link landed. The way he landed reminded him of a superhero from some superhero movie.

"It's now time to move on and start making preparations for Medoh's strike on Ganon. But only if the two of you think you'll still need my help fighting inside Hyrule castle." Revali seemed kind of, smug so to say. "Feel free to thank me now!" Revali smiled. Just as Red was about to open his mouth, seeing as Link turned his head away, that light appeared under Link's and Red's feet.

"Or... never mind, just go." Revali seemed disappointed as he went to turn his back to them. "Your job is far from finished you know," Revali mentioned. As Red and Link teleported away and Revali turned, Revali muttered, "The princess has been waiting an awful long time."

The two males were teleported to just outside Rito village. Red let out a sigh of relief and looked at the slightly taller male feeling his weight shift to lean on him. Link wrapped his arm around him gently "You did really well, Red!"

Red nodded closing his eyes "You too...!" he whispered trying to keep himself awake. "Heh, tiring, wasn't it?" Red nodded again as he started to doze off and therefore put more of his weight on Link.

Link chuckled, "Heh, let's get to the inn." he whispered gently picking the red-haired boy up, who was pretty much asleep. The blond decided to treat them both to the most expensive kind of bed, the Rito down bed.

He gently placed Red down on the bed before laying down next to him and pulling him closer. Cecili, the Rito who worked at the main desk, had indeed been correct about how soft the bed was. It made Link almost went to sleep the moment he got in the bed. Though to his surprise, he heard the soft voice of his angel.

"Link... This bed is so soft... Don't tell me you spent all your rupees on it?" Red whispered half asleep. "I didn't, don't worry." Link whispered, gently brushing his fingers through Red's hair. "I just wanted to treat us, especially you, to this soft bed."

Red chuckled nuzzling his face slightly into Link's chest. "So, it wasn't just because you can?" Link rolled his eyes with a small smile "Of course not." he whispered. "Totally..." Red let out a little laugh which made Link's heart flutter. "Aww~ C'mon my darling, angel, Red~ Believe me." Link laughed softly.

"Hmmm... depends." Red looked at Link and winked at him. Link smiled and grabbed Red's face and pecked his lips "Believe me now-" Link was interrupted by Red kissing Link's lips. The blonde kissed the boy back, brushing his fingers through the red head's hair.

Red pulled away with a smile that made Link's heart skip a beat. "I never haven't believed you." Red whispered resting his head on Link's chest, listening to his heartbeat. Link sighed with a smile, gently continuing to brush Red's hair with his fingers. "Are you sure about that?" Link asked, Red nodding closing his eyes.
