Chapter 13

(This chapter is gonna be dedicated to Sidon and Aleya cuz they're adorable –Ajplayzlol)

Aleya watched the sun set over Zora's Domain for the second time since Red and Link left, she felt worried. She couldn't contact Red since he broke his phone heading to Vah Ruta in the water, so she was more worried than she should be. Hearing footsteps behind her, she figured it was Sidon as the footsteps ceased to a stop behind her.

"You okay?"

"Yeah, just worried about those two..."

"It'll be fine, they're strong! And Link won't let anyone or anything hurt Red."

"I guess... Sidon?"

"Yeah?"

Aleya lay her head on Sidon's lap, turning her whole body so she lay in his arms. "Thank you..." She mumbled, feeling the brush of Sidon's fins on her arm as she embraced him. Sidon smiled as he closed his eyes, relishing in the hug. The two different races' breathing evened out as they almost fell into the sweet release of sleep.

Almost.

"Prince Sidon! Forces have notified me of a group of bokobli- huh?" Bazz, a Zora guard who Aleya was well acquainted with, approached them in his usual, brisk walk. His pace lowered when he noticed the two in a tight yet loving embrace. Bazz let out a sigh as he turned around, whispering to the soldiers that had followed him.

"Send a front to attack, get some left to guard the domain. Prince Sidon is-" He paused to find the right word. "-busy right now." He finished. Picking a group of five Zora to go and attack, he sent the others to their respective points. Smiling at the sight, he left to help deal with the front of Bokoblins.

Sidon opened his eyes, making sure Bazz had left. Poking Aleya lightly in the side to wake her. As the female opened her eyes in false fatigue, she noticed Bazz wasn't around and dropped the act, smiling at the Zora. The two stood up, Sidon picking her up in his arms, earning a small squeak to leave her mouth.

Sidon smiled his signature smile. "You tired?" He asked, Aleya yawned in response, confirming Sidon's thoughts. Sidon nodded; his eyes closed. Walking off towards their room that they now shared, he made sure to not rush to wake her.

Entering the room, Sidon placed Aleya gingerly onto the bed, laying her flat on her back. Sidon joined her, embracing her as though there was no tomorrow. At first, he didn't understand his feelings towards her, but now he knew.

He loved her, dearly.

His golden eyes closed slowly, drifting off to sleep next to his beloved. Their breathing evened with each passing second as they slipped into the sweet sleep that enveloped them and their tired selves. The warmth from each of them was shared between the two as they slipped from their consciousness.

The sun rose, bright yellow and orange rays flowing into the room like waterfalls, awakening the Zora prince and his beloved. His golden yellow eyes struggled open as he looked at Aleya with love being the only emotion anyone could perceive. Hearing the patrol returning from dealing with the force of Bokoblins, he realised that they would have to wake his father.

Shooting upright, he shook Aleya awake, it being easier than previous times from the early times they had to awaken. "Is he almost awake?" She groggily asked, earning a nod from the noble Zora. Sidon grabbed her wrist gently but sternly as he got her out and into the main area.

Looking up into the much taller beings' eyes, Aleya giggled at how clique it was. King Dorephan had no clue about Sidon's love life with the girl, and probably wouldn't agree to him with a Hylian from another timeline, so they kept it secret.

However, they forgot about Muzu entirely. The old Zora had seen the two and their affectionate displays when they were out in public, no-one could deny it. The way the female lay in his lap and drew him with excruciating detail, the way Prince Sidon defended the girls every move, and the way they were never apart showed their feelings.

Sidon saw how Muzu looked at the two and tapped Aleya on her shoulder. "Hey, 'Leya? I've gotta talk to Muzu for a second, could you stay here for a sec?" He asked her, a small hum escaped the girls' throat as she complied.

The Zora approached the elder, contemplating what to say, however, Hylia seemed to be feeling nice as Muzu started the conversation.

"You and that Hylian girl seem to be close. Too close for my liking. What are your thoughts on her?"

Sidon hesitated slightly, looking over his shoulder at the girl in question, his face softened as a smile crept onto his face. Looking back at Muzu, he answered;

"I... I'm in love with her, but my father probably won't approve. I-" He was cut off as he received a whack to the top of the head. "I'm the one who doesn't like it! Your father won't dislike it, he'll support you no matter how much I try to say otherwise!" Muzu scolded.

Sidon's eyes widened as his smile grew wide. He walked back to Aleya and saw her anxious expression. The Zora suddenly became extremely concerned. "'Leya? You okay?" He asked, not sure if he wanted to know the answer. Aleya took a deep breath in as she pondered her words.

"Sidon- I... I'm pregnant..."

Sidon's eyes widened in surprise, his breath hitched and his heart started to race. No... How? How the heck? Sidon thought how it had happened.

Then it hit him.

He was going to be a dad, a father, and he was going to enjoy every second of it. He was going to stay by his beloved's side through the entire ordeal. His shocked expression changed into one of euphoria as he embraced the girl tightly, lifting her up off the ground and spinning her around. "I'M GONNA BE A DAD!" he continued to yell. Laughing through every repetitive sentence, he never thought he could be as happy as he was now.

Aleya, still processing what happened, started to laugh along with him as she realised, she was going to be a mother.

Her excitement overflowed throughout her veins. Laughing until the two started crying, Sidon placed her down lightly, cupping her face in his hands, he leant down slightly and closed the distance between their faces. Aleya's eyes widened a fraction before closing them again, melting into the kiss. Wrapping his arms around Aleya's waist, he pulled her closer, straightening his back as he did so.

Aleya felt her feet lift off the ground as Sidon picked her up, deepening the kiss as Aleya snaked her arms and hands around his neck. She smiled into the kiss, letting out a soft laugh. "I'm gonna be a dad...!" Sidon whispered, yet again. Aleya pulled away, smiling. "Yes, Sidon, you're gonna be a dad..."

Sidon placed Aleya down gingerly and he got on his knees, placing his head and resting it on her stomach. "Hey...!" He whispered, pressing his face against her belly. "I'm your dad...!"

Aleya laughed at his antics. "Sidon, they can't hear you, yet." she managed to say through giggles. "I know! But I'm gonna be a father!" His eyes gleamed as he stood up, his smile softening. "And it'll be by your side." He finished. A blush made its home on Aleya's cheeks across her nose, matching the colour of Sidon's fins.

Sidon laughed at her flushed face, picking her up and placing her on his shoulders like her mother did when she was a child. Aleya let out a small squeak at the sudden action, gripping onto Sidon's neck like she was going to fall off. "Sidon!" She lightly scolded him for lifting her up to a height more than double her height.

Sidon flashed her his usual toothy grin, somehow calming the 17-year-old. When the initial shock of being hoisted up faded, she smiled and hugged him, her arms snaking around his neck.

"Uh... Sidon?"

"Yea?"

"Can you- can you put me down, please?"

"O-oh! Of course!" The Zora prince grasped Aleya by her hips as he placed her on the ground gently, not wanting to hurt her even if by accident. The two sat down next to each other in front of Mipha's statue.

As Aleya lay her head in Sidon's lap, said Zora couldn't help the deep red that crawled onto his cheeks, his mind in disbelief that he was with someone as nice and loving as Aleya.
