As the group tried to enter Ruta, their neck snapped towards Aleya at the sound of a gunshot. She had her rifle out, since she still didn't have her pistol. They looked back just as fast as an eye, coated with a black and purple substance, exploded. The other stuff surrounding it exploded into dust.
"That was Malice, Aleya. That shit you just shot was Malice. One of Ganon's own creations." Link told her. Aleya merely shrugged as she re-attached her rifle to her back. They continued and she rolled to the right, down close to the floor as she took her rifle and shot the small robot that, somehow, had already shot a laser at the group. In two shots it had fallen and exploded.
"WHY ARE Y'ALL SO BLIND?" She screamed, getting back up as she re-loaded the rifle for future reference. "You better thank Hylia that I've got good eyes and quick aim." She continued. Link saw some more Malice and shot the respective eye with a normal arrow.
"So how do we lift this gate up?" Red asked just as Link took out his Shiekah slate and then used Cryonis to make ice the lifted up the gate. "That's how." he smiled at Red who looked like he realised he asked a stupid question. "Don't make that look, the question wasn't stupid." Link elbowed him gently while chuckling. Red chuckled a little himself but still felt stupid for asking the question.
The four then entered the room, Link placing his Shiekah slate into pedestal. It turned the slate over and then turned the circle in the middle where the slate sat before going in, making orange constellation patterns appear and the screen of the slate went orange for a bit before an Eletronic voice said 'Sheikah slate authenticated, distilling map of Divine Beast'
Red and Aleya's eyes widened and they took a step back. The 'Guidance Stone' had blue, glowing symbols that had very little differences flowing down, creating a small, blue droplet. It fell off of where it was and landed on Link's Sheikah slate. Remnants of the droplet flew around the slate and Link's Slate turned on. A black screen flashed a symbol both Red and Aleya recognised as the Sheikah symbol.
The symbol disappeared and was replaced with a map of the Divine Beast. Link took the Slate out of the pedestal and attached it to his hip. The group walked out of the chamber of sorts, and they saw a terminal submerged in the water. A metal contraption attached to the platform. Aleya took the Sheikah Slate out of Red's hands and she equipped Magnesis, placing it back into his hands. "Use this to try and lift that platform." Was all she said.
He turned on the Magnesis rune and saw that the metal machine was coloured a solid salmon pink colour. When he lined the middle of the slate up with any part of the metal, it glowed yellow. He tapped the screen where it was and what seemed like an electrical current left the slate, connecting to the metal. He tried to move the metal with his finger, but to no avail. He tried moving the slate and that seemed to have done the trick.
He rotated it, Aleya, Sidon and Link staying clear of the current. After a minute or so, the platform was lifted and the terminal was revealed. He risked losing the current, turning the rune off. The platform stayed in its place and they were able to safely approach the terminal. Link tapped his slate onto the corresponding symbol. It glowed blue. "There are 4 terminals remaining, don't give up" Mipha spoke calmly.
Link looked at the map to see where the next terminal was then looked at everyone as if to say to follow him, in which they did. They went up a ramp which led up to another area in which two gears were. Only one of the gears was turning while the other stayed in place. It quickly became clear why this gear was turning. Water was being used to make it turn.
Then a robot, much like the last one, appeared and went to slash at Red, who squeaked and in the heat of the moment, kicked it, knocking it over. He then started stomping on it in a panic, destroying it. "Red you may want to calm down." Sidon told him. "Yeah, it's pretty much just scrap metal at this point." Link agreed with Sidon. Red turned to them, stopping. "Sorry, I panicked and just, you know..." he chuckled awkwardly.
