Red woke up with a yawn, did I fall asleep to Link humming? He asked himself in his thoughts. He looked at Link he hadn't moved an inch from when Red had fallen asleep. Link had fallen back to sleep himself by the looks of things.
Red carefully got out of Link's snuggle and got up making sure Link didn't awake. He took the shirt Link had allowed him to borrow to wear while he slept that night off and looked at the cut, he had gotten in the fight against Water Blight. It had started healing into a scar.
Link shuffled in the bed as he awoke. He noticed Red looking in the mirror and gently smiled as he got up "Morning, cutie." Red blushed and turned to look at Link "O-oh! Link! Morning." He said flustered. Link chuckled as he walked up to him and wrapped his arms around his waist, resting his head on Red's shoulder.
"What's with the affection?" Red jokingly asked. "Oh, it's nothing, I just want to give, you, the ever so good looking Red that I love all the affection he deserves..." Link spoke in a sing-song voice. Red blushed "G-gosh, Link... why are you so smooth?" he muttered. Link gave him a smile and shrugged "So why are you looking in the mirror? Are you maybe admiring your true beauty?" Link teased Red again.
"u-uh... No, I-I was...uh... was seeing how my cut is doing..." Red told Link. "Don't mind if I check it out myself do ya?" Link asked. "I don't mind" Red gave him a gentle smile. Link let go of him and Red turned around.
Link crouched so he was at eye level with the now scarring wound. "It looks to be healing quite well..." Link muttered before looking up at Red "I'm surprised it's this healed already, it normally takes weeks for cuts that deep to heal" Link told him. "I've always been a bit faster at healing than some people..." Red mentioned, Link nodding in response.
"I'm going to touch it, let me know if it hurts okay?" Link informed Red to which Red nodded and braced himself for any pain. Link gingerly touched the cut looking up at Red to check if he was okay. He smiled when he couldn't see any pain on Red face or in his eyes.
He stood up "Now it has no risk of being opened up." Link spoke as he leaned in close and pecked Red's nose. Red blushed deeper than before "That's nice..." Red squeaked. "You somehow manage to get cuter when your flustered, Red." Link teased Red once again. "P-please stop that..." Red whispered covering his face.
"Fine~ we should get dressed now anyways, after all we need to get ready to leave." Link kissed Red's forehead before going to get his champions tunic and stuff. Red couldn't help but smile to himself before starting to put his tunic on.
Once they were both dressed Link and Red walked out of the room and out the inn. Link with his arm draped over Red's shoulders. Red noticed Aleya, who looked pale, much like a ghost. "Aleya! Are you okay?" Red called out causing Aleya to look over with dead eyes.
Red internally face palmed realising that she was hungover, again. "Did you drink again last night?" Aleya simply nodded. "Aleya... your underage... you shouldn't be drinking!" Red lectured her getting a glare from her. "Fuck off Red... this headache is already giving me shit and it doesn't help that I feel like I could vomit anytime now..."
In saying that she immediately made a face and ran off to the edge of the domain and vomited down one of the waterfalls that went down off the domain. Red and Link cringed at the sight of her vomiting what she had the day and night before. Link let out a slightly annoyed sigh "She's way too hungover to travel... I was hoping we could leave this afternoon!"
Aleya gave him a glare "I can travel!" she said before proceeding to vomit, again. "You... just proved his point" Red gave her a sympathetic look but said nothing more. Aleya let out a pained groan. "Fine..." She complied.
