Red groaned as the morning sun shone into his eyes. He rolled over, nuzzling to Link's chest, wanting to sleep more. "Alright, you two! Time to wake up!" the stable manager smiled staring down at them. Red frowned to himself, he was tired from the journey, which was already long, why couldn't he just sleep more?

He sat up rubbing the sleep out of his eyes and yawning. "Link... you heard 'em wake up." he mumbled shaking him slightly. "No..." Link whispered. Red sighed and smiled knowing just the trick to get him up. He got up before carefully grabbing Link and dragging him off the bed. "Ow!" he yelped. Red chuckled "Are you okay?" he asked. "Yeah, but you didn't have it do that!" Link growled. "Well, you were going to refuse to get up so..."

Red froze when he saw a small smirk form on Link. "W-what are you planning on doing?" he asked nervously. Link didn't respond, only standing up, maintaining eye contact with Red. "Link?" Red stepped back slightly. He squeaked when Link grabbed him and pulled him into a bear hug. "I'm not letting you go until you apologize." he said in a teasing tone. Red sighed "Well then how do you think we're gonna go to Hateno now then?" he asked in a similar tone to Link's.

"Hmmm... I dunno..." Link mumbled before lifting Red up "I'll just carry you!!" Link faked an evil laugh. Red smiled "I'm not apologizing if it means I get to stay in your arms forever." "I guess that's the point." Link whispered as he started carrying him towards the counter. "Thanks for allowing us to stay here sir." Link smiled.

The stable manager blinked at the two "y-yeah... do you guys want your horses out?" Link shook his head "No thanks, we can walk the rest of the way." the stable manager nodded.

"Do we really have to walk the rest of the way?" Red asked despite very clearly being carried by Link. "Of course not, we'll just be teleporting..." "WHY DIDN'T WE TELEPORT TO HATENO BEFORE?!"

"..."

"Because I wanted to spend more time with you? And even then, we needed our horses to be at the closest stable to Zora's domain anyway..." Link chuckled awkwardly. Red sighed "I guess that's a good excuse..." he whispered. Link laughed "Alright, you ready?" "Yeah." Red grinned at Link as he put him down. Link grabbed his Shiekah Slate and tapped a shrine.

Red gasped once they finished teleporting "Dear Hylia, I'm still not completely used to that..." he sighed. "Me either, heh..." Link chuckled. "But, hey, we're here!" he exclaimed. Red looked around, first noticing the shrine, and then noticing all the old houses and such. Red's eyes sparkled "Omg- it's perfect!" he yelled.

"Omg? What does that mean?" Link asked, extremely confused. Red blushed "Oh... uhh... well... it uh... it means oh my goddess... but... uh... um..." he felt like curling up into a ball and crying at his sudden use of 'omg' "The vocabulary in your time is weird... but, very, very cute... especially coming from your mouth." Link flirted. Red covered his face letting out a very flustered whimper.

Link gently moved Red's hands and kissed him "You're perfect, ya know..." he muttered. Red opened an eye slightly "You're way more perfect than me Link..." he whispered so quietly that Link barely heard what he said. Link sighed his eyes filled with love and care for Red. "Who let me get with someone like you, huh?" he asked "I really don't deserve you... and your beauty... kindness... smarts... and Hylia... your eyes! Your eyes are by far the best thing about you!"

"H-huh?! Of course, you deserve me! It's me who doesn't deserve you! You- you're so brave! Your hair is so soft! You're so strong! I-I can't truly get over how nice it is to kiss you! Y-you... you're um..." Red froze upon realising what he was about to say "uh... you don't need to know what I'm going to say next..." he mumbled. "Awww... are you sure?" Link asked. "Well... I-I um..." he closed his eyes tightly. "Alright, fine... you're... p-perfect in... uh... bed..." he squeaked.
