Red was quick to point out the old Goron to Link once he had managed to get his armour on. Link took a moment to observe this Goron, noticing his visibly angry yet pained expression as he stared up at the divine beast that made itself home on Death Mountain. He was also visibly older than most of the other Gorons, his back hunched, wrinkles adorned his face, a long white beard tied into four separate sections and one of his eyes was covered by an eye patch.

He made his way towards the Goron, his partner following close behind, the mere stature of the assumed leader enough to cause visible discomfort in those within a ten-foot radius. Link could easily tell that Red was practically cowering, especially when he bonked his helmet on his back, mumbling a little 'sorry'.

"Excuse me, are you-"

"THAT BLASTED RUDANIA!" The Goron shouted, Red jumping at the speed of sound. Link quickly reached for his hand, not only to comfort him but because it lowkey scared him too.

"What's wrong?" Link was almost hesitant to ask, feeling slightly thankful when the Goron seemed to calm down slightly, only grumbling.

"With Rudania runnin' wild recently, Death Mountains eruptions have gotten real bad." The Goron explained, looking back up at the Lizard-like machine, "Do ya see Rudania stompin' around up there on the mountain? They say 100 years ago it actually used to protect our people from harm... but that was then, and this is now!" the two boys could see the stress on the Goron's face as he spoke of the beast, further explaining how it was messing with the mining operations and all the Gorons were left suffering because of it.

"I can tell ya how many times we've used the cannon to chase off the fiend! But it always comes back!" The Goron shouted before he seemed to move his back wrong, sending him into a painful groan.

"Sir, are you okay?" Red finally spoke up, stepping up beside Link. "Hmph... just some back pain."

"Wait? Who are the two of you?" The Goron asked.

"We're travellers."

"I see... so the two of you came all this way to pay respects to me? I like you brothers already!" the Goron smiled, Link quickly whispering to Red that it was just an expression the Gorons used and he didn't actually think they were brothers as he went to correct him. "Well, my name's Bludo. I'm the great Goron Boss who's fearsome enough to silence a crying child!" Bludo paused for an awkward moment. "Or to make a silenced child cry, either way. Yes, it is none other than I, Bludo!"

Red blinked under his helmet, staring up at the Goron as he went on to explain how he was planning to drive out Rudania when the pain in his back flared up, mumbling about a 'Yunobo'. "Who is Yunobo, if you don't mind me asking, sir?" he asked, hoping that this newly mentioned person would be able to help them in some way.

"Yunobo is a young Goron who helps me drive off Rudania. He went to grab some painkillers for my back from the Abandoned North Mine, but he hasn't come back yet..." he said before mumbling about him being a slacker "If the two of ya happen to see him, will ya let him know I'm lookin' for him?" Bludo asked before he yelped from pain again.

"We'll have a look around." Link stated before he started to walk off. Red looked at Bludo again "Do you want us to get you painkillers in case we can't find Yunobo, sir?" he asked, the Goron giving him a look of pain.

"That would be appreciated, brother."

Red smiled at him before running to catch up to Link who had stopped at a shrine, placing his shiekah slate on the pedestal, making most of it except the top turn blue, before stepping back, walking towards Red. "Come on, let's get headed towards this abandoned mine..." he muttered, taking his hand. Red couldn't help but notice how distant Link had seemed, maybe it was just his anxiety making him paranoid but, he seemed to lack that gentle spark he usually had when he spoke to him. He tightened his hold on Link's hand, praying to Hylia that he'd be alright, he out a small sigh as he felt Link squeeze his hand in return, glancing back at him with barely visible emotion as he could tell through the helmet.
