" I don't know, but I promise ill kill the demons that killed our mom and dad and come back!" he reassured you, ruffling your hair.
" Please look after her ma'am.." he said to the caretaker.
She nodded.
Soon, she let go of her brothers haori and could hear him run away.
Her brother was the only thing left of her family and she didn't want to loose him either.
He'd always tell her how dangerous and scary looking demons were and how to protect themselves with wisteria flowers. Now, he'd be gone for a while.
She waited a week for him to come back, then a month, and then a year had past.
He never came back.
But one day, thanks to her sharp hearing, she managed to hear the caretaker and someone talk about her brothers death during a mission which surely broke her heart. Now,she had no one except the caretaker for her...
She spent time on sharpening her hearing even more, eventually able to recognize footsteps, which was enough for her.
One day, as she were coming back home from getting a package from the postal office, she bumped into someone.
