Mattia pov

I was already at Jimmy's waiting for her impatiently. Honestly if she stood me up here as well I was gonna be really pissed off.

I heard the door open and I turned around to see her walk in. She smiled and walked over to me, she kissed me on the cheek and sat opposite me, " sorry I'm late," she said.

I waved her off, " it's fine,"

" so what did you want to talk about?" She asked, and she rested her hands on the table.

I looked at the space between us and I knew there was no good way to say this. She was gonna feel hurt either way, I just hoped she wouldn't yell or make a scene.

" about us," I answered and I looked up at her, " I don't know about you but I feel as if things aren't working out between us anymore,"

Her face dropped slightly and her brows furrowed, " Mattia-"

" and I just wanted to say it now. I've been feeling it for some time Jasmine, and it doesn't have any thing to do with you. Trust me, you're still an amazing person. You're just not the one for me, and I'm not the one for you," this was so hard to say since I really didn't want her to take anything the wrong way.

I was ready to insult the fuck out of myself if it meant her accepting the fact I wanted to break up with her.

" mattia where is this even coming from?" She asked sitting up.

" I just...I don't see us as a couple anymore," I told her calmly.

I was feeling a little worried because she didn't look calm at all. She looked mad and I had a feeling she was going to blow, " I don't understand, how did you just....look if you want a small break and have some time to find yourself I'm ok with that," she said, reaching out to hold my hands.

I sighed," it's not like that this time Jasmine," I told her, " I feel like we don't fit as a couple anymore."

Her mouth opened a little to say something, and I was searching her eyes for how she was taking it. Her expression wasn't giving off much now. She looked down at the table between us, lost in thought.

She suddenly looked up, her brows tense again, " this is about her isn't it?" She asked and I looked at her confused, " the girl whose been tutoring you?" she tutted and let go of my hands. She sat back and folded her arms, " I knew she was a whore. I knew she'd try fucking you,"

I blinked slowly, and let my brain process what she said because what the fuck?!

I didn't like that she was talking about Celeste like that, because she would never do anything like that.

" no she didn't try fucking me Jasmine, can you calm down please," I said quietly to her, because I didn't want to catch other people's attention, " Celeste isn't like that ok?"

" then what's going on Mattia?" She asked exasperated, " why are you breaking up with me?"

I sighed and held my head in my hands. What was she not understanding right now?

" ask yourself Jasmine, do you really see us as a couple anymore? I've tried to tell myself that you and I still supposed to be together but It just....it doesn't seem like that anymore,"

She looked down at the table again, looking somewhat upset.

" look I'm sorry," I told her, " I really am. But I can't force it. You don't deserve that, you deserve being with someone who's heads over heels in love with you."

" and you're not?" She asked.

I shook my head a little, " not anymore,"

She nods and sighs quietly, " so this is it then?" She asks me, " we're done?"
