Ban and Elaine sat next to each other as they watched over a sleeping Salem. "Why didn't he tell me?" The immortal questioned as he held his lover's hand in his own. "He didn't want you to become distracted, if he had told you about the stones, you would've stayed here instead of joining the other on the mission." "DAMN RIGHT I WOULD!" Ban exclaimed, catching the fairy by surprise. "With everything that is going on with you, the Commandments, Salem, and now the Captain and the princess... What am I supposed to do?" Ban asked to no one in particular. "What you have always done Ban, stand by his side. This is a tough time for him, for all of us. He is going to need our support now more than ever." The fairy said reassuringly, placing a hand on his shoulder.

We then see Salem standing in the middle of a white void. But his whole body was completely white and featureless, only his natural golden colored eyes were visible. From his hands to his elbows it was completely black as his body emanated the same multi-colored aura, going from Gold, to orange, to fuchsia and then to purple. "I haven't been in here since before Octavia was born. But why now?" Salem began to walk in the endless void, his steps making ripples in the surface as if he was walking on water. "Hello Salem, it's been a long time." Voice called out to him, it sounded as if many voices were talking at once, a mixture of male and female, but the loudest was a female voice.

"Indeed it has, Mother."

"After 3,000 years, you have created another Nexus Stone, two of them this time." The voice stated, almost sounding like a parent that was scolding their misbehaving child. "Hey, now in my defense, it was a complete accident, I did not do it on purpose. But either way, these stones are here now, and I will not simply give them up." Salem stated as his eyes narrowed and his brows furrowed. "Nor am I asking you to." The entity spoke in a calm demeanor. "Y-You're not?" Salem questioned. "No, Salem, I'm not."

"Then why bring me here?" Salem questioned his "mother" "I brought you here to warn you." the entity spoke. "Warn me? About what?" Salem asked the entity. "Soon you shall come face to face with a choice that is pivotal to the outcome of the future, of not only your, but of your loved ones." Copies of the Sins, Elaine, Ares, and all of Salem's close friends appeared before him. "And those that have yet to come." Then copies of a few new faces appeared next to the Sins, a few of them were children, a boy with long silver hair and heterochromatic, blue and green eyes, stood between Meliodas and Elizabeth, a familiar blonde boy stood between Ban and Elaine, while two other boys stood next to Ban, one with grayish-white hair, wolf ears and tail, the other had spiky black hair. And then in front of all of them stood a small young boy with green hair and purple eyes. His outfit composes of tunic cloth and short. He wore a purple horned iron helmet and an orange cloak with a brooch shaped like a serpentine creature biting his own tail.

"So what you're telling me, is that whether or not I make the right choice, will determine if these children are born?" Salem reinstated as his "mother" hummed in confirmation. Salem then looked back at the three boys that stood next to Ban and then to his fiancé. His eyes were beaming with determination as the darkness began to spread further up his arms.

"Then I will not fail."

"We shall see. And one final warning. The power that follows through you, the power that I gave you long ago, is now too unstable. Your body is not as strong as it once was 3,000 years ago. To much use, can cause it to become erratic, and can cause more harm than good." The entity warned the sorcerer. "I'm well aware of the dangers that this power can bring. But such is the power of Chaos." Salem stated reassuringly. "Very well. Go now child, your friends and lover are waiting for you." The Entity said as a large stone door emerged from the surface. "One question, before I go." "Hmm?"
