Enchanted Heart

The boys stood face to face against Ares, the one person standing between them and Salem's heart. Ares' body was completely black as it emanated black and red smoke. "Ares?" Salem called out to his other half but Ares just stared at him with narrowed eyes. His blood red eyes only focus on Salem. Salem's eyes widened but then became focused on Ares, finally understanding his intentions. "Ban. I need you, to get Meliodas and Wild out of here." Salem instructed. "What?! I'm not leaving you!" Ban objected. "Yes you will." Salem stated as he turned to face his fiancé. "Otherwise, how will you get back? You need to find that exit." Salem replied as they rested their foreheads against each other. "How will you get back?" Ban asked as concern filled his voice. "I have my way. But you need to do this."

"What do you mean by that?" Ban questioned the white haired sorcerer. "You'll know it when you see it." Salem replied as he then gave him a quick goodbye kiss. But before he could walk away Ban grabbed his wrist and pulled him into a deep kiss. His arms wrapped around his back and Salem's around Ban's neck. After a few seconds they separated.

 "Come back to me."

"Always."

Ban let go, as Salem then turned around and walked towards Ares. But in a flash Ares was gone and reappeared above Salem. With a sword in hand, Ares brought down his blade only for Salem to stop it with his hands, creating a crater underneath them, Salem was struggling against Ares' power. "Go! Find The Exist!" Salem exclaimed, as Ban hesitated for a second before nodding his head. "Come on, Cap'n!" Ban called out as Meliodas and Wild ran with him back to the supposed exit. Back to the Demon King.

Now that the three of them were out of harms way, Salem directed his full attention back to Ares. Motioning Ares' sword to the side, Salem grabbed the blade with one hand, then broke it with the other. He then elbowed Ares in the face, sending him a few feet away. "Well, Now that we're alone. Mind telling me what this about." Salem asked with an irritated tone in his voice as the smoke around Ares dissipated, looking identical to Salem the only real difference was the dark hair and blood red colored eyes. "Simple. I kill you, and the Demon King will remove his curse on me. And I can finally be with my love." Ares stated as he summoned another sword to his hand. "HA! Is that what he told you?! Ares, even you can see that, that's complete bullshit." Salem stated. "Maybe, maybe not. But still, I'm not going to pass up that chance." Ares replied, as he got into a fighting stance. "All right Ares. Have it your way." Salem then summoned a sword and got into a fighting stance. 

With narrowed gazes, steadfast determination, sharp minds, and even sharper blades. The two halves faced each other head-on. Moving a super fast speeds, swords clashing, sparks flying and shock waves blasting every second. Their battle shaking the very earth on which they stood. 

Salem hit Ares with a flying kick, disorienting him. Salem then hit him with a flurry of punch, then taking his sword a slashing Ares across his throat. He then threw his sword behind Ares, marking it spin vertically at high speeds. Salem kicked Ares into the spinning blade as it shredded through his back. Then going behind the blade, Salem grabbed the blade threw it in front of Ares and then pushed him face first into the spinning blade. Then knocked him into the ground with another jump kick. "Had enough?" Salem asked as he summoned his sword back to him. 

Ares then summoned a spear and impaled Salem in the chest. He then took out the spear as he slashed him twice across the chest, and then once up his torso. The strength of the attack launched Salem into the air. Ares then leapt towards him, hitting him with his shoulder. But before Salem could be sent flying, Ares grabbed leg and slammed him back down onto the ground. Ares then came crashing down impaling Salem's torso with his spear. Once on the ground, Ares then summoned a large war hammer and smashed Salem's head into the ground. The force of the attack created a shock wave that sent Salem flying a few feet away. "Not even close." Ares replied wiping the blood from his mouth as his wounds rapidly healed themselves. Salem then stood back up, his wounds healing as well. "Good. Otherwise this wouldn't half as fun." Salem stated as the two ran towards each other and continued there fight this time, with just hand to hand combat.
