jeno tapped his foot impatiently, pacing back and forth, trying to stimulate thoughts.

"who's coming over to where?"
"my band members are going over to my mum's house, where i said i would be."
"oh damn."

he continued pacing, having already walked around the sofa thrice.
"so what do we do now?"

"just go, i guess." renjun said as though it were obvious and donghyuck shrugged in agreement.

"it's not that simple..."
"yeah, he could get kidnapped."
renjun and donghyuck immediately looked at the other two boys with high concern.

"what?"
"kidnapped?"

"yeah, he ran away so if they see him they're gonna steal him again. which can't happen because he doesn't want to go back until we finished the race."

jeno was still pacing.

"so then don't go?"
"they think im there though, so i have to go. but i can't go alone otherwise something bad could happen."

there was silence for a few moments, before that was interrupted by renjun's suggestion.
"let heloise go with you."

renjun knew exactly what he was doing. as did jaemin and donghyuck. it was obvious, since they had noticed how the two didn't talk to each other as much, or how they were a little more distant than usual.

they didn't know what had happened, but frankly, they wanted it to unhappen since it was causing awkwardness amongst all of them.
