heloise kept her eyes closed as of she were asleep but seriously, she wasn't.

it was impossible to sleep at this kind of time.

after jeno had checked his phone, he had been silent. the whole 2 hour journey, he was silent. apart from the occasional mumbling to himself.

"heloise, wake up, we're here."

hopefully her acting would trick him into thinking that she hadn't heard anything he had whispered under his breath. he was worried, and he had every right to be.

she got out and went to jaemin's apartment immediately, missing it already.

just as she was about to knock, a pair of arms wrapped around her in a hug, knocking the air out of her.
"heloise, please tell me it's not true."

it was sena.
"take your guess."
"im joking, i know you didn't do it. but it's everywhere, there's barely any time to do this."

heloise was happy to be back with her friend. she breathed in a little as she indulged in the hug. it was a stress-reliever.

"you know it's not just about your dad too, it's jeno as well."
"what do you mean?"

just as that moment, jeno appeared after parking properly.

"that's what i needed to say, my members thought you were a sasaeng and i tried to tell them so many times that you weren't but they didn't listen. and now they've filed that you kidnapped me or something. they're still on that."

fuck, she cursed in her mind. nothing was going well.

"where are the others? do they-"
"yup, they know. but they know you couldn't have done it."

or that's what sena thought. when she saw renjun, jaemin and donghyuck, they seemed distant.

she was upset that they hadn't trusted her, but she wouldn't trust herself too.

maybe everything would have been fine from just then if she didn't get a random phone call which forced her to walk away from the group of people once again.

it was a lot to take in at once. a lot to digest and understand. she wished maybe there was a way that none of this could happen, but there was nothing.

tears came to her eyes and placed a ball in heart throat. heloise felt like a failure. like she had failed her brother.

he had depended on her for so much, he had such high expectations that she was never able to meet yet he loved her regardless.

but when he needed her above all, she didn't know what to do. when he needed reassurance, she felt as though she were even more lost.

fear for his safety forced a squeak from her as the sounds of struggle poured through the speaker of the phone into her ears.

she figured her mother had come back, but there was nothing more she could do after he hung up the call.

she was failing him yet again.

i... im on the verge of stabbing someone yet again, im not in a good mood i don't want to go to my cousin's house which is three whole hours away after just coming back from school.... i have like almost 20 tests when i get back to school and i need to revise but NOOOOOOO my uncle's birthday is much more important than my position in school...

and not just that but this woman will not stop COMPLAINING- ALL SHE DOES IS COMPLAIN JESUS-
