"we're not going to talk about this, alright?" "about what?"
"our... our... our current situation, you already know what i mean." she hissed under her breath.
"you're right, i do know what you mean but it's more fun to here it come from your mouth."
she sighed as he smirked, and turned to face the world beyond the passenger's window.
"are you okay though?" he asked: an unwanted thought that he should trail his hand over to hers flashing by but he dismissed it, "i know that you didn't really want to come."
"the anniversary thing seems to mean a lot to you. what is it the anniversary of?"
she sucked in a breath at his question and he began to think that it was the wrong thing to ask.
"nevermind-"
"it's not that i don't want to tell you so don't think of it as that, i do want to tell you i just don't think i-"
"only tell me when you're ready and if you want to. you're not forced to do anything."
"i was forced to come here though." a short-lived laugh slipped from his lips at her huffing and her cheeks brightened in response, having no idea that he had heard her.
"we can go back if you want."
she turned to him, finally peeling herself away from the window. the genuine purity in his eyes that almost looked like gold told her that he was serious. he would much rather that she was happy than anything else in the universe.
"no, it's fine... you're too much of an angel, do you know that?"
