after a while though, jeno came to find her. she was just helping mrs lee cook when he came in and walked straight to her - enveloping her in a hug.
"jeno, are you okay?" she asked with concern, a smile still on her face from playing around so much.
when he didn't respond, she moved back from him for a second: a frown already forming at the thought that he might be upset. but he wasn't.
he leant down and placed a kiss on her forehead, his mum squealing a little bit at the sight. "yeah, i'm fine, should we go to the party that yuo said we should go to?"
"party?" mrs lee questioned, suddenly remembering that she was the adult in the situation, "you two be safe please if you're going to a party."
they both nodded and heloise agreed to go to the party, they'd be leaving his house soon anyway so it was best to do whatever they could.
jeno helped with the finishing of the cooking so that it would be quicker, and also proceeded to help finish with eating the food as well. all so that it would be quicker, he said.
when they had all finished, he dragged her away back to his room, all the while hoping not to bump into his dad again.
"jeno, i have a dilemma." "let me guess, you don't know what to wear?"
she nodded sheepishly. "you could've asked yuo to help you." "truth is, i never really even got round to getting to yuo's room. i spent most of the time talking to you mum. she's really nice, is your dad as nice too?"
"yup." he half lied, nodding with a thin lipped smile. his dad was generally a nice person, but probably wouldn't be to her.
"actually, jeno, nevermind, i know what to wear now."
