Context/ warnings: I haven't gotten to him yet, so he will be off character so I will try my best! ( I know he's a sorcerer and all, but like, I see him as a businessman).

AU?: normal life ( also no spoilers cause I have already seen some and so uh yeah)

Three hours.

That's how long you had to wait tell Nanami came home from work, and then you would have to tell him the news that you were pregnant.

And let's be honest here, you were getting anxious by the second.

At first, you were very excited and happy to tell him the news. But now, waiting, having your mind wander, it made you think. Would he even have time for a child?

Surely he would if he had time for you, but would he?

You frowned before sighing, ' I need to do something than just sit here and wait'.

You stood from the dining room chair, walking towards the living room so you could watch tv. But that's when the door opened, having you pause.

" Oh-... your home early." Nanami glanced over, " Yeah..." he yawns as he takes off his shoes and puts down his work back (?).

" Oh, Umm- would you like some water?" He raises a brow, seeing your nervous state.

" sure"

Quickly you made your way to the kitchen to get him a cup of water, having him follow behind you.

" Thanks," he takes a sip of his water. You nervously smiled, " I need to tell you something."

" Go ahead." You hesitated for a moment before taking a deep breath in as he takes more sips of his water.

" I'm pregnant." He pauses, sitting down his glass cup that was almost empty.

He coughs for a minute, " Your what?" You gulped.

" Uh- I'm pregnant." Your voice almost cracks due to nerves, especially when he was just staring at you.

" Uh-... Nanami?" He doesn't respond, causing you to worry. " did you hear me?- are you alright?" You went to walk towards him, but instead, he spoke up.

" -so you're telling me I'm going to be a dad?" You paused, blinking for a few moments.

" Yes- but, are you sure your alright?" You asked once more, continuing to walk towards him, placing a hand on his forehead to see if he had a fever or not. But before you could, he grabbed your hand.

" Are you practicing your parenting skills on me?" You looked up at him confused, " well I'm not sick". He pulls your hand away from his face, still holding your hand in his.

" I'm glad you told me," he pulled you into a light hug. You smiled.

" so are you happy?" You asked, " No-I'm excited" He corrected, causing you to somehow smile even more.
