Ishida

Key/context: I am having Nishimiya be in this one-shot, so since she's deaf, I'm going to have the reader be able to do sign language. When they are doing so, it's going to be normal talking but underlined, like: " hi! How are you?" If that made any sense?

Warnings: He ( and many more) may be off character as well ( also sorry if this is short, I cracked my fingernail and it makes it hurt/hard to type).

" are you okay? It took you a while to get out of the bathroom"

Ishida asks, watching you walk out of the restroom with a growing sad expression. You were like this ever since he got home, when he asked you what was wrong, you would say it was nothing. Which slowly led him to the conclusion that it wasn't really "nothing".

" Yeah, I'm fine. Why?" You asked, taking a seat beside him on the couch nervously. He looks at you for a moment before turning back to the tv show he was watching.

" You just look down..." he mutters, having you nod as you place your elbow on the couch armrest, then proceeding to lean your face against your hand with a frown.

" oh...I'm just tired" you muttered.

That was a lie.

Thoughts were moving all around your head, that mainly being the new news that you got this morning. That being: you were pregnant.

Whenever your brain had the free time to zone out/daydream, it would also clip back to when the doctor told you that you were pregnant and you did not believe him, which led you to go to the supermarket and buy some pregnancy tests.

You took  four in total, that being:

You're first - at the doctors

You're second - at your work

You're third - when you got home

You're fourth ( the last one) - when you were about to tell Ishida but hesitated, thinking that the tests were wrong.

All came out positive, meaning that the testes were right, and you had to tell Ishida.

You sighed heavily, laying your head on the top of the couch while closing your eyes. This caused Ishida to glance over with a raised brow.

He opened his mouth, about to speak, but stopped when your eyes snapped open. You then sat up, grabbed the tv remote, and lowered the volume before snapping your direction towards Ishida, which caused him to flinch slightly.

" Are you-" "no, I'm not okay. And it all depends on your response" you quickly interrupted him, having him pause.

As if it were magic, you pulled three positive pregnancy tests out of your pocket and placed them in the space between you and Ishida. Having him look at them funny before picking one up.

He started at the test weirdly, moving it around slightly. " This morning I went to the doctors due to nausea, they had me take a pregnancy test, and it came out positive. I then went to the supermarket and bought some tests, took one at work, took one when I got home, and then took when right when I was about to tell you." You muttered out quickly, moving your gaze towards the tests that laid on the couch.

He looked at you slightly stunned as you bit your lip, " I already set up the first doctor's appointment while I was there, it's going to be tomorrow. And I would like you to come" you then glanced up at him to see tears falling from his eyes.

" you-... are?" He breathed out, noticing his body start to swerve around, kinda like he was losing balance. That's when his eyes fluttered closed before falling face-first onto your lap.

Your eyes widen quickly, shaking his unconscious body.

" Ishida!?"

" that's so funny!"

You laughed as Ishida looked away embarrassed, causing you to giggle.

" don't tell my mom when we see her? Please?" You smiled as Ishida whines, ignoring his question and looking back towards Nishimiya who smiled at you, causing you to smile back.

She proceeded to glance towards your baby bump, which had gotten pretty big since the last time you saw her.

" is the baby kicking?" She signs, having you nod.

" yeah! They've been kicking every since I've gotten here, wanna feel?" She nods, having you get up from the chair you sat in ( using Ishidas shoulders to help you up from the chair), and took a few steps towards her so she could feel.

She carefully placed her hands on your baby bump, and she quickly got some punches and kicks in reply. She slightly flinched before smiling, pulling her hands away from your baby bump.

Ishida frowns, " you didn't tell me that they were kicking!" You shushed him, " you get to feel the baby kick all the time! Quick whining" you then look back towards Nishimiya who's stared at you confused, having you quickly explain it to her.

" He was complaining how I didn't tell him the baby was kicking, even though he feels them kick all the time" she smiles, turning and looking towards the clock before looking over towards you and Ishida.

" don't you have to see Ishidas mother?" Ishida gasps, quickly standing up, " we have to go! My mom will get mad if we're late!" You smiled before looking towards Nishimiya.

You waved goodbye, including Ishida.

...

" There's my grandson!!"

Ishida's mother cry's out, seeing Ishida carrying his son on his hip with you following behind.

His mother giggles, " you got a lot of practice from watching Maria didn't you?" She asks with a smug look, causing him to nervously smile.

" yeah hehe," he nervous laughs, as his son quickly looks towards her, having him reach for her grasp. She smiles.

" Awww!! Want grandma?" She asks while picking up the small boy, causing him to giggle and laugh with excitement.

Ishida's mother glances over towards your tired look, having her sigh.

"You tired huh?" You nodded with a yawn, having her glance over Ishida who watched his child grasp at her hair and playing with it.

" And I thought you were a real man- not letting her sleep?" She pouts, having Ishida snap out of his thoughts and look at her.

" I do!! Y/n is tired from work!" He replies, causing her to shake her head in disappointment.

" mhm, sureee"
