Tobias POV
I'm sitting in my bed with only a lamp on, I haven't liked much light lately. I hear a faint knocking on my door and at first I don't want to answer since it could be Zeke. But I go anyway, it could be Chris or Shauna or someone. I slowly twist the handle and open the door. There standing in front of me is tris. Her beautiful golden locks spread across her shoulders and her piecing blue grey eyes looking at me. "Tris?" I say but it come out a whisper. "Tobias." She says and I can see she's crying.
She runs into my arms and I hold her close. I feel that she could be snatched away from me at any given moment. "Tris. Tris!" I say sobbing now. She pulls back and looks into my eyes. "I thought you were dead." I say and she shakes her head. I close the door and we go to my bed and sit on the side of it still holding each other.
"Caleb.. He made *sniff sniff* a serum." She says through tears. I run my hand across her cheek and through her hair. She still smells like she used to, something sweet but something that's was only her. "It's been too long. Too long." I say still crying. "I know tobias I know! I wanted to come. I really did. But I wasn't awake till this morning." She says to me. "I've missed you. I've been so.." "I know baby." She coos and it's good to hear her for real again. She finally kisses me and everything I've ever felt for her floods back. Out tears mix together and we hold on to each other tighter. I pull back and whisper to her, "I still love you." She smiles. "I've never stopped loving you tris." I say and we kiss again.
It feels good to hold her, to hear her. To see her and know that it isn't a dream. That this is real. That tris came back to me, she came back.
