Chapter 3

Jason's POV

It's been a week since I have been shot and I'm pretty much back to normal. I know most people would not be but I have been working out and helping the recover go faster. Even though it hurts like hell I know I have to do it because the babies are coming soon. They will be here in under two months!!

Melanie is also so happy to have a new little brother and sister, she is running around the house yelling 'sissy' and 'buter' meaning sister and brother.

Right now I was in the gym in the basement of my house, trying to lift weights. Every time I lift with my left arm I feel burning going through my chest, but I have to do it. Just then my phone rings, I put down the weight and pick up my phone without looking at the ID.

"Hello?" I say while wiping my face with a towel.

"Hey Jason" the voice says from the other end.

"Justin?" I ask. Why would he be calling me? After what he did to us by siding with Alex.

"I need your help, I talked to Kelli about it but she never really gave me an answer." he says in a nervous tone. I make my way up stairs to see Kelli standing in the kitchen talking to Mel who was in her high chair at the bar. I walk over and give each of them a kiss.

"Help with what?" I ask while taking a seat next to Melanie. Kelli places a glass of water and a sandwich in front of me.

"I don't have anywhere to stay, i was staying with Alex and his gang but now, that's not really an option. So I was wondering if I could stay with you until I get back on my feet" he says in one breath. I look up at Kelli then over to Derek who just entered the kitchen.

"I don't know man, we don't really have a lot of room here, with the babies coming and Derek, but maybe I can set you up in the gang house." I say taking a bit of my sandwich.

"Thank you so much Jason! And mom wanted us to get together, like you, me, Derek and her" he says with happiness in his voice.

"Yea ok we'll see you later" I say before hanging up.

"Who was that?" Kelli asks waddling over to one of the bar stool before taking a seat.

"Justin, he asked if we could give him a place to stay and that mom wanted to meet up with us" I say looking over to Derek, he nods before stuffing more food down his face.

"That's nice of you. I think me and Mel bug here are just going to have a movie day" Kelli say tickling Mel's sides. Mel laughs then catches her breath.

"And me and ma paint nails" she says wiggling her little fingers. We all laugh at her then go back to what we were doing.

After about an hour Derek and I left to go to mom's house, Justin was already there. I pulled into the drive way then got out of the car, walking up to the front door.

"Ma!" I yell while walking in with Derek behind me.

"In here!" I hear her yell. We make our way in to see her and Justin sitting on the couch. I walk over and kiss her cheek then take a seat in the chair across from her.

"So why did you want us all here?" Derek asks. Mom is slightly taken aback but recovers.

"Well I wanted all my sons to be here because I have some important news that I want to tell you boys" she says rubbing her hands on her pants.

"What's going on ma?" I ask leaning closer, putting my elbows on my knees.

"Well, I'm seeing this guy and-" before she could finish we all cut her off.

"What!! What do you mean your seeing someone?" Justin asks standing up. Derek and I copy his actions.

"I'm seeing someone, I can see people you know, I'm not getting any younger" she says looking at all of us.

"We just want you to be safe ma, so who is he?" I say sitting next to her on the couch. She smiles and pats my leg, Justin and Derek sit back down, looking at her.

"His name is Dom Sanders. He is a manger of this bar in town, he is very sweet and kind. He doesn't have any children but was married." she says smiling. I remember to keep his name in mind so I can do a background check on him, can't have anyone hurting my mom can I?

"When are we going to meet this Dom guy?" Derek asks while picking at his shirt.

"Umm he is off on business now so maybe sometime next week" she says with a smile. We all nod, we want our mom to be happy but he will have to deal with us if he breaks her heart.

"So Jason, how Kelli and the babies?" Mom asks after a second.

"Their great, Kelli is having more pain everyday but she knows it's worth it" I say with a small smile, thinking of my beautiful wife.

We talk for about another hour before we decide to go home. I told Alfredo to clear out a room for Justin, if he is going to stay in the house, he is going to be apart of the gang.

I walk into my house alone since Derek is taking Maegan out for dinner. I step into the living room only to see everything pink. Pink blankets covering the couches to make tents, pink string lights hung over the fire place and TV. The TV was playing the soundtrack to Cinderella, the room smelled like nail polish and cookies.

"Girls?" I say walking farther into the pink madness. Just then I see two head pop up, each one with a crown on their heads.

"Ook, it da king of da kingdom!!" Melanie yells once she sees me. I laugh and look over at Kelli.

"We are playing princess land a-" she was cut off by Mel.

"Ink rincess land" Mel shouts not able to say any words with 'P' in them. Kelli and I laugh as I take a seat next to Kelli. Under the pink blanket tent is a little tea party set up, with Mel's stuff animals and dolls all around.

"Yes pink princess land, I'm the queen, Melanie is the princess and you are the king" she says putting a fake king crown on my head. I smile and kiss both of them before kissing Kelli's stomach.

The whole night involved pink, princess play, pink, princess movies and more pink! Mel even tried to paint my nails, i disagreed at first but after Kelli gave me the death stare a quickly allowed Mel to do so. The night ended with both of my ladies in my arms.

Cute filler! Don't worry the babies will be here soon and so will Mel's birthday!! The big 2!
