⚠️ TRIGGER WARNINGS ⚠️
abuse, violence, rape, sexual assault, gaslighting, manipulation, murder, toxic "relationship", kidnapping, serial killer, homophobia, domestic abuse
..
yes... it's a lot. It's a very heavy story.

Normal sites, and as it's intended label it as: Drama, Horror, Psychological, Mature

Lezhin labels it as BL .. boy love. And although it might seem nitpicky that I'd have a problem with this label as they engage in some sort of relationship and are both guys making it technically bl ... IT STILL AINT RIGHT.
The problem with this label is that fans- and I'm pretty damn sure it's solely bc of fans that it gets labeled and advertised this way- think it belongs in the romance or love genre.

Romance ?????? WHERE.
WHERE.
DID I MISS SOMETHING. there's literally NO romance and NO love in this story you sickos.

tbh i shouldn't even be reading this shit bc I'm literally getting through my own traumas
buuut sometimes I just get back to not caring
anywyas even though I'm very sensitive to this stuff, the story itself for some reason ofc made me go through a whole rollercoaster but it didn't leave me messed up or something guess therapy isn't overrated lol.

but u know is messed up.
THE FANS.

Imma need some structure in this chapter or no ones gonna understand the point oof so enjoy some kinda chapters in this.

1. THE STORY AND ITS INTENDED MEANING
⛔️ spoilers for almost whole story

Ever since Sangwoo saved Bum from being sexually assaulted by a general while in military service, Bum is obsessed with sangwoo, well the idea he has of him. He begins stalking him soon after and one day figures out the code of sangwoos home. Entering the home, he hears something and goes to the basement. There he finds a woman tied up and naked. She screams for help but terrified she doesn't let bum help her when he tries. Because of the commotion sangwoo hears this and goes to the basement and hits bum so he can't move. Then he breaks bums ankles so he can't walk. He leaves him in the basement and kills the woman. Initially sangwoo was going to kill him. But for some reason he keeps bum in the house and doesn't kill him. He dresses bum up in a skirt and short tshirt so kinda resembling a girl. We later find out these clothes belong to his dead mother - sangwoo killed her- and Bum reminds him of his mother (yeh so y'all be shipping this?! Ok).
He has multiple ways to keep bum in the house even when he is not there. He says that if bum were to ever cross this invisible line in the house, he would slit his throat. We see scenes of bum trying to escape but he is terrified and his anxiety makes him hallucinate that he hears sangwoo, very understanble if u ask me like inagine the severe stress. Sangwoo even tests him on this, he waits until bum overcomes his fear and opens the door to freedom. But he's sitting on the porch. Bum gets severely punished.
Bum tried to poison sangwoo too but normally bum isn't allowed to eat the same food as sangwoo yet this time he is. Bum still eats the food, rather die of poison than let sangwoo know he poisoned him. They both survive tho although bum gets sick.
Bum also tries another time and even makes it outside but sangwoo catches him taunting him that no matter how loud he screams no one will hear.
