MY HERO ACADEMIA: i never finish animes but i see todoroki everywhere

so I don't hate anime.
but I also don't like it that much.

Thing is : the only animes I've fully watched, like from start to finish is
• Death Note
• Hetalia
• Erased.

what I've started but never finished :
• attack on titan
• swords art online
• Code Geass
• Black Butler
• some random animes I began years ago so I don't really remember

with attack on titan I really expected - from myself tho- that I would finish it as I had been waiting for a new season for years but years later when it got released I watched a bit but just couldn't get back into it so yep. still love levi tho💞.

so yeah don't get me wrong I think anime storyline lines are insane. as in so well thought out and executed, like they're so intriguing and complex and I love that. but somehow I couldn't finish them, and there are some reasons thats just preference :
• I actually don't like anything that isn't live action except if it's something like disney, you know disney animation movies. but 99,90% of what I watch is with "real" people.
• i love fantasy to an extent, like game of thrones is one of my fave series of all time, but I usually love the "real" plots more. like how sansa is My favourite character, instead of a character like arya who has been through less "relatable " stuff as far as it can be relatable. or my other ultimate fave is the untamed, also fantasy but my fave parts were abt the psychology of it the character development, their relationship etc.
To make it short ; I like to watch the realistic parts of the plots more than the fantasy/ fiction and quite a lot of animes have this. (I know not all I'm just referring to the popular ones and the ones I know)

okay so I kinda gave up with anime but then I was like ,; that dude my friends keep sending vids of must be something bc they're obsessed fr ksjd.

and boi I was intrigued. I mean I've seen him everywhere , even already knew his name: todoroki. like no googling, just knew it bc he's so popular. And now i got SO MANY QUESTIONS. WHO IS HE? WHY IS HIS FACE BURNED(?) RED? WHY HE LIKE SPLIT BETWEEN TWO POWERS OR SOMETHING??
also I got flashbacks to zuko and he was my first fiction crush so- yk my brain was like : ding ding got another zuko like character.

then I also knew he's from My Hero Academia.
I tried googling the synopsis but then It was like "which arc do u wanna have a plot of" and I was like ?? ARC?? then I remembered it's anime and it got multiple arcs but now I just know imma be confused and todoroki apparently isn't in the first arc and just at ep5 but I can't just begin at ep 5?? so imma have to watch more ?? BUT WAHR IF I DONT LIKE IT OMG at least I'm trying. and imma be positive bc what I've read the plots are pretty great like they seem very  interesting.

OH TURNS OUT IM JUST STUPID. it has ofc multiple seasons. I just read it as episode 23 but that's the total of episodes , and that episode is in season 2 eye-
wtf @ me literally every show counts their episodes like that BISH U NEED TO SLEEP MORE.
So welp guess we gonna watch a whole season for todoroki to show up, but pretty sure the other characters are loved too otherwise y'all wouldn't watch the show.

UPDATE FROM FUTURE ME: well so I watched it all, yes a l l ,incl the movies AND OML I HAVENT LOVED A SHOW THIS MUCH SINCE THE UNTAMED. my faves are definitely todoroki and kirishima 🥺 actually if I were to rank my fave characters it would definitely be
1. Todoroki
2. Kirishima
3. midoriya
4. Bakugou
4.5. Yes and a half I can't rank well ksjd, is: aizawa.
5. Dabi and shigaraki share a place- IM SORRY OKAY I KNOW THEYRE VILLAINS.

Also apparently the dub doesn't have kirishima's "Pom Pom". I feel sad for you :( you're missing out on pompom. but at the same time .. should've watched the sub then ;))
