7 project: watched it for the sapphic couple BUT AT WHAT COST?🤬

when I saw that poster that announced the series omg. my fucking god did I cry bc of the poster. I LOVE SAMMY AND NOW SHES PLAYING A SAPPHIC IM SOBBING. I was soooo happy like we don't get that much representation and now that BL is so popular and became quite diverse in Thailand I hoped that maybe we were finally beginning to get some GLs but oh boy.

Anyways this series works like this: every episode tells the story of a couple. It's divided into around 4 parts. Sometimes the couple or characters show up in other episode as side characters. I honestly think the idea was quite nice but the execution is uhm well yeah.. lemme just tell u.

So from this series I only watched episode 1, episode 3 and episode 4 (a bit of 2 too). I watched episode 1 bc earth was in it ksjshs and episode 3 because sammy is sapphic and episode 4 for bounprem.

Couple : ozone x sun
I RLLY LIKED THIS EP. No but I really really liked this. That's why I thought I might love this series. Ozone hasn't had a smooth high school experience as he faced bullies and failures while also struggling to fit in with his family. His family excludes him for idk what reason they're just so strict on him. He gets send to a boarding school. Sun also gets send there bc he stopped a fight between bullies and who was bullied. They all turned on him and he got blamed so he's send away. Ozone and sun were so cute immediately tho. Eventhough they got "accused" of being gay and in a relationship by bullies they didn't care about it. They cared about each other. At one point they do fight tho and idek whats it abt. I think it's bc ozone was being bullied and sun didn't intervene enough bc he got reminded why he was there in the first place so he walked away. Was kinda vague idk. Anyways they make up and confess their feelings and oml that one of the best kissing scenes I've ever seen. Usually it's a but uncomfortable or I'm like ? UhhhhhM. But damn this one was so sweet but powerful bye.
Also the ending OMf cute cute cute.

Episode 3
Proud X Jaidee (GL!!)
⭐️s: ⭐️⭐️ out or 5 and I'm being generous here
- so proud (Sammy plays her🥺) is a social friendly girl. She seems very happy but she's still very upset and hurt abt how her last relationship ended (bf Cheated on her). Her father died and she helps her mom so her mom can rest a bit as she's overworking a lot. Jaidee is .. uh they don't give her much of a backstory but she's caring and protective and friends with proud.
So lemme just say... I first was like ?? Why are they focusing so much on her Ex boyfriend but luckily we discover quite soon that jaidee is in love with Proud and wants to protect her from her cheating ex bf (well that's what we thought then). They spend a lot of time together and Proud feels a lot better with jaidee supporting her and being by her side. Jaidee even helps with her mom etc. There are some clues ther they both like each other judging by the looks they give each other. At one point they realize they both feel something and they kiss. I was yelling YELLINNNGGG. but ofc it got ruined so fast bc why let sapphics ever be happy huh.
So as they kiss ,Proud notices jaidee's tattoo and she recognizes it AS THE TATTOO OF THE GIRL HER EX SLEPT WITH. (She got a picture of them together send to her lying naked in the bed). So turns out: jaidee was indeed the girl in the picture.
Now here comes the shit show and the evidence the bl world hates women and esp wlw so much: the ex bf explains to Proud what happened. He tells that he got really drunk (maybe even drugged idk?) and that when he woke up jaidee had taken a picture to send to Proud so she would break up with him .. and ig so jaidee could be with proud??? idfk. Idek if they said that she actually slept with him it kinda got implied idk. It's sexual assault, doesn't fcking matter if the victim is male and perpetrator is a woman bc it's still the same thing. SA is SA. Really hope they didn't mean it was like that but knowing thai series. Well, consent isn't The biggest concern in many BLs.

this is what I hated so much. Like this whole time the ex bf was innocent and trying to protect proud from the truth while jaidee manipulated proud by sending that picture of her and the ex bf so they would break up so she would be able to comfort proud so she might fall in love with her.
Wtf?? like they really did the whole lesbian evil plot. Or even kinda the predatory plot. That shit hurt man.

My other problem with the show was that while yeah the other couples got some shitty storyline sometimes too ig it wasn't like this. In ep2 I think. I skipped most of it bc straight and boring but there was this girl who liked the main girl and kissed her. But it was portrayed .. again.. AS SLME KIND OF VERY WEIRD OR PREDATORY THING.
My god am i tired i don't even want these channels to make gls anhmkre if this is how they'll treat it.

Episode 4
Mek and balloon
⭐️ s: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
It was kinda boring but at the same time it was pretty good. Balloon is ozone's little brother. He's been in a relationship with mek for a while but balooon is afraid to be out in the open bc he sees how his parents exclude his brother for being gay. He's afraid he'll meer the same fate. Mek is a very kind and caring person but he's also very alone bc he doesn't have a family anymore.
So I liked this ep Bc it showed the relationship and I found the scene powerful where mek tells balloon is cruel to him by saying he wouldn't understand what it's like to be worried for a sister. Bc he doesn't have a family yk. So yeah I liked parts but it was also confusing and some parts weee unnecessary. Also it i legit didn't feel like they were in a relationship which is strange bc boun and prem (actors) have a lot of chemistry irl. Oof. Also I just saw win and team so got confused slot. but that's a me problem lol.

So watch it??? Yeah episode 1 watch it. Maybe watch episode 3 just for them streams to show we want gl but if you're actually a sapphic u might get hurt so wouldn't realllyyy recommend it. Also the short episodes and all these couples made it very doffult to develop the relationship well. Like with other series they get 12 eps and this is just one so you can imagine how it's rushed.

Once again proving thai bl is just a love hate thing for me. The newest ones I kinda like. At least what I've seen but there are so many with questionable consent and confusing plot lines that it's throwing me off. I'll see if I'll watch more.
