"Let the record state that I did not agree to this." Eddie said as he stared at the run down house.

The small group of friends stood on the corner of neibolt street staring at the neilbolt house. It was run down and smelled like depression and shit. Bill stood on the steps, the group had deemed him the leader and waited for him to take the first step inside.

"If you get scared you can hold my hand."  You teased and lightly punched Eddie's shoulder.

"Haha you're so smooth." Eddie sarcastically remarked.

"Sh-shut up." Bill said and turned to them. "We a-all need to be s-serious about this. What-whatever is in t-there isn't friendly and it's up-up to us to st-stop it before it hurts anyone else."

Richie raised his hand, "Remind me why it's our responsibility and not oh I don't know the police?"

Eddie nodded in agreement with Richie's point but Bill sighed, "Be-because they wouldn't believe us a-and d-did it's my d-duty to rescue Ge-Georgie."

The losers grew silent at that and silenced their complaints.

Stan turned around to face the house, "Let's d-do this."

The friends entered the house and poked around. Each having a weapon they either took from home or found just then. You had stolen some baseball bats from school and given one to Eddie and Richie, you also had one yourself.

You all promised not to split up but you and Eddie found yourselves together in what was once the living room with Richie while Bill and the rest of the gang had wandered off upstairs. Richie poked around in the cobwebs while Eddie was practicing his swing with the bat, although he hoped he'd never have to use it.

"Will you stop that? I'm trying to find clues." Richie said.

"Clues? What are we the mystery gang? This isn't some murder mystery where we rip some mask off and find a pathetic loser trying to smuggle gold." You snapped at Rich. You were on edge about the whole thing.

Before Richie could make a comeback you heard Bill and Stan scream. The three of you looked at each other and ran to find them. You rushed upstairs to see Stan on the floor as a clown held tightly onto Bill.

"Let him go asshole!" You yelled. If you hated anything it was clowns.

The clown smiled with its sharp teeth and stretched its mouth open ready to bite Bill but surprisingly Eddie struck it with the baseball bat. The clown chomped down on the bat and not Bill's face. Bill scrambled out of the clown's hold and over to Stan.

The gang turned to Stan to make sure he was okay but he had vanished. You and Eddie shouted curses and turned to look at Richie, only to see he had disappeared as well. You saw white hands fly out of the wall and grab Eddie's arm, they pulled him into the wall and he disappear.

"Son of a bitch!" You yelled. You ran down the hallway looking for Eddie but when you made it to the room at the end of the hall the door shut. You spun around quickly as the walls started changing, the door shrunk away and the walls seemed to be closing in. You weren't claustrophobic but you damn well be with the way you were freaking out.

The clown's voice rang in your ears, "Your friends left you. Eddie left you. He'll never feel the same. Better to just die now then live to have him break your heart."

"That's not true! You're just an asshole." You yelled as you tried to stop the walls from crushing you. You then remembered the trash compactor scene from Star Wars and used your bat to hold the walls.

You couldn't hear the clown anymore but that was somehow more concerning. This was your worst nightmare, dying in a crack head house alone, never telling Eddie how you felt. Your  thoughts then shifted to Eddie, was he okay? Did he like you back? Guess you'll never know.

Then as if he was summoned your thoughts Eddie slammed open the door snapping you out of your cramped illusion. You sat in the middle of the floor holding the bat like it was your life line. Eddie was covered in dirt and what looked like puke but he rushed towards you and brought you into a bone crushing huge.

"You fucking dumbass you promised not to leave me." Eddie said and you hugged him back just as tightly.

You pulled back after a second and held his face in your hands. "I promise I'll never leave you again."

Eddie smiled and by pure adrenaline and the fear of losing you he surged forward and captured your lips with his. Forgetting you were in a creepy crack-head house and forgetting the numerous amount of germs on his shirt. The kiss didn't last long but it was what you both needed to stand up and finish what you started. Time to kill a motherfucking clown.
