Damian Wayne, the top student at your school and the most popular. He walked the halls with confidence and never spoke unless needed. He was the perfect student and everyone envied him. That would include you.
You're also a student and you may not be as smart as Damian but you're diffidently up there with the "nerds" although Damian is in no way a nerd. He's the total opposite actually he's rich and hangs out with the "cool kids". Maybe you're thinking too much about Damian but you can't help it. Ever since you saw him you just wanted to get to know him or maybe you just want to be like him. Either way he's like your idol in a way and honestly you'd do anything for him to even know your name.
The class started and you sat down next to Damian like always because by some stroke of luck your assigned seats were right next to each other. Because of the seating arrangements you get to stare at him, not in a creepy way, but like how an artist would stare at artwork. Admiring him for the beautiful boy that he is, his complexion bathing in the sun's morning rays while he looks attentively at the teacher. You don't think he ever noticed your staring but little did you know he was staring back at you when your head was turned.
While the teacher droned on you couldn't help but continue staring at him. He had the most dark chocolate hair that looked so smooth you could run your fingers through it all day and his eyes as green as emeralds and they twinkled as if they were gemstones. He was just a sight to be seen. He had dimples that were rarely seen only when he talked and his lips looked perfect, they looked so smooth and soft and you could just kiss them all day. Your sure his smile is amazing but you don't remember seeing him smile, if he did you're sure you would have remembered it.
You looked away for fear of him catching you and paid attention to the whiteboard. The bell rang and you gathered your things, shoving them in your backpack for later. Damian was always the first or second out of the classroom but today he almost rushed out. You wondered what that was about but it's probably nothing.
You walked to your next class and the first thing you noticed when you entered was Damian, usually you beat him to the class because he stopped by his locker or his friends decided to chat. But this time he was talking to the teacher and then took his spot in the front. You chose to ignore it and took your seat by the window. As more students piled in Ms. Johnson started teaching. She talked about the assignment you were going to start today and it seemed like it was a group project or at least partners. There were some groans when Ms. Johnson announced she had already picked the partners. You were fine with her picking it means you don't have to go through the torture of asking someone.
"Next we have Damian and Y/N." Ms. Johnson announced.
You couldn't believe it, this must be your lucky day. You get to spend a whole week working with Damian on a project. Damian turned to look at you and you smiled at him, you don't think he smiled back but you didn't expect him to. The class dragged on and you couldn't wait to get it over with so you could talk to Damian.
Finally the bell rang and you stood up already packed and walked over to Damian who just finished packing up, "Hey."
He looked up at you from his seat and then stood, "Hello."
"So we're partners and I was wondering if we could like exchange numbers to talk about the project?" You don't think you could have sounded any more embarrassing or nervous then you just did but he seemed to not notice.
"Sure." He got out his phone and opened his contacts then handed it to you.
You gave him your phone as well for him to put his number in, "Thanks I'll make sure to text you later about the project."
He nodded and walked off towards his next class while you stood there a little shocked at what had just happened. You just exchanged numbers with Damian, you have his number, he has yours. Every girl in the school would kill to be in your shoes.
