Very short I was just in a sad mood so I needed my comfort character
You hated Lance.
Not really though, it was actually the exact opposite of that. But you couldn't help hating him just a bit for leaving to space without you. Sure it was his dream and you supported him but every time you read over his last text your heart would break. "Brb going to space!!! Woohoo!!".
You had texted him god knows how many times and none of them had gone through. You sent him a text everyday sense he left and you weren't going to stop anytime soon. Lance was your world but, he had left yours. It wasn't fair.
You sat on your roof every night for the past 2-3 years waiting for him. Your friends were concerned for you greatly but you didn't stop. Fearing the one night you don't watch the empty skies you'll miss him.
You wondered how he was doing. Was he even still alive? What was he doing out there? Had he found someone else? You couldn't help the troubling thoughts that plagued your mind each night as you waited for your love to come home.
One night in particular you broke down crying. It was the third year anniversary of Lance leaving you for space. You sat on the roof watching the stars as you let yourself cry your heart out. Eventually you stood and started screaming curses at the universe. It took Lance from you. It was to blame for all your misery.
You were silenced by a striking blue blur speeding across the sky. It flew right over you and landed in the woods nearby. It was too dark to make out the shape but it was huge. But you knew better than to be scared. You rushed down off the roof and ran through the house. You ran out the door and didn't stop till your gaze fell upon the gigantic blue space lion.
You felt your heart clench as you prayed Lance was on there. You watched in slow motion as the door to the lion opened and fell to the ground. First you saw the brown hair you knew so well and then you saw his face. His tired face that still held the same loving smile.
When he saw you he froze and tears pricked his eyes. Then he dropped the helmet he had been holding and raced towards you. You opened your arms and he wrapped his around you quickly. Picking you up and spinning you around like in those romance movies you used to watch every Friday night.
He set you down and before you could say anything to him he smashed his lips onto yours. Devouring you in a kiss. He wiped your tears away with his thumbs as he cupped your face. When he pulled away you could see the tears in his eyes falling.
"You damn idiot why'd you leave me?" You asked in a whisper as you wiped his tears away like he had to you.
"It all happened so fast. I'll tell you everything on the way okay?" He said and you didn't know how much you had missed his voice.
"Wait on the way where?" You asked as he grabbed your hand and pulled you towards the lion.
"Space." He said with a grin and you couldn't help but smile back.
