Made the second part. Need more Percy. Kind of short lol
You had been at Camp Half blood for 3 or 4 months now and you had grown close with Percy. As well as Annabeth and Grover. You had inside jokes and you always made sure to do the same activities as them so you could talk.
At first you admired Percy for his looks but getting to know him made your little crush 1000% worse. You soon learned that he was the funniest, most caring, most loyal person to ever exist. That and he was as far as you knew, totally straight and in love with Annabeth.
So you tried to stop crushing on him. But everything he did just made you fall even more in love with him. He was too perfect and you were falling hard. Especially during sword training when he would lift his shirt up to wipe of the sweat on his face. You were literally falling over him because gods be damned why is he so attractive.
Eventually you got fed up with being a coward and decided to tell him. Once he rejected you could get over him. That's what you told yourself. So you marched up to him after training and opened your mouth to speak but nothing came out. You then aborted the mission and walked away. Leaving Percy standing there confused.
That had happened the last 5 attempts to tell him. So you decided to write a note. Old-school yeah but effective. You couldn't stutter or freeze up in a note. You wrote the letter and sneakily placed it on Percy's bed in his cabin while he wasn't there.
You waited that night by the canoe lake. You had written on the note for him to meet you there so he could tell you an answer. You hadn't signed the note so you wondered how he'd react when he saw you. Would he be surprised? Disgusted? Would he think it was Annabeth and be disappointed?
Your thoughts were silenced by a small, "Hey."
You turned to see Percy standing a bit behind you. He smiled kindly at you and took a spot next to you. He looked over the lake and the night sky before his eyes landed back on you. You let out a breath you didn't know you were holding and looked at him, "So?" You whispered.
He looked at the note in his hands then back to you, "It was really sweet." He started and you could already here your heartrate pick up as you waited for the but.
But it never came, "Y/N." He said and held his hand in yours, "I like you too and this is the sweetest note someone has ever written me. Most are death threats and referrals but that's beside the point." He rambled and let out a small chuckle.
"I wanna be with you. If that's okay?" He asked with a nervous smile.
You punched his shoulder and smiled, "I was supposed to be asking you out not the other way around you dork!"
He laughed and you joined him, "Alright alright we'll call it a tie for that one but, will you Y/N L/N be my boyfriend?"
You nodded quickly, "Gods yes. I mean yeah I guess so." You corrected and tried to act nonchalant but your smile quickly gave it away.
Percy playfully rolled his eyes at you and the two of you laughed again. Leaning into each others side and heads leaning together. Hands being held and fingers intertwined. The perfect way to spend the night.
