This was a request and lemme just say I love it and thank you @literallystfurn hope you like it :)
Y/H = your house
Y/FN = your full name
"Turn to page 187." Snape's drab voice rang through the musty classroom. Gryffindor and Y/H were together in potions today. Snape wasn't too excited about that because with Gryffindor alone he had to deal with the Golden Trio but with the added house he had to throw you into the mix as well. All in all it was one of the many reasons he was wishing for retirement.
You had partnered with Harry for the project since you were good friends and Ron had already begged Hermione to help him. Your task today was to learn about Amortentia and let's just say you weren't too excited about it. Love was a touchy subject for you all because of one certain scar headed wizard. Out of everyone in the school you had fallen for the Boy who Lived.
He didn't seem to like you back that way, at least not that you thought. You weren't super strong or smart or meant for a dangerous destiny. You were just normal, well as normal as a wizard can get.
By your reasoning there was no means for such an awesome guy like Harry to ever possibly be in love with you. But he wasn't going by your standards. Harry did indeed like you back but of course he never showed it. He thought you wanted to be just friends or that you wouldn't like him back so he kept quiet.
Which meant a very awkward atmosphere hung between the two of you as you studied the page Snape had tasked you to turn to. "Depending on who or what the person loves, the smell of the potion will change to match." Harry read aloud. "So the smell varies per person depending on what they love. That's cool."
"What do you think you'd smell?" You asked.
"I honestly don't know. I can think of the smell but I can't describe it." He answered and you nodded along.
"I don't know what it would smell like to me either." Your conversation was then cut short as Snape sent a glare your way and shushed you. Both not wanting to get points taken away, you quickly became quiet.
After class was over you walked with the trio down the halls. That was until Malfoy showed up and pulled you away from them. You weren't best friends with Draco but sometimes you enjoyed his company. It was at least better than him bullying you so you took it.
Once you had left Ron made a comment, "How can he stand that prick?"
Harry didn't answer and Hermione went on a side rant about how annoying Draco was and that you had a heart of gold for putting up with him. Harry agreed on that part but he was too into his own thoughts to comment. He was busy wondering if you somehow liked Malfoy. There was no way you had fallen for that blond prick was there?
The rest of the week The Trio didn't see you for a couple days except for quick glances in the halls or during dinner. When they did see you, you always seemed to be surrounded by Draco and his clique of idiots. Harry was upset to say the least. It seemed you were more friends with that blond rat then you were them. But when you asked to study with them he couldn't say no.
So there you were all sitting around a small section of the library. Books and papers scattered on the floor. Questions like "What are the main ingredients to Cure for Boils?", "What spell changes hair color?", "How do you pull off a bludger back beat?" were thrown around for anyone to answer. No one topic was focused on because this was a cram session. You had three test tomorrow and you needed to know everything you could.
It was only when you took a break was it quiet. No questions asked just a moment to breath and try and remember everything you just went over. That was until a small paper dove flew toward you and landed in your hands. You opened it with Ron leaning over your shoulder.
